original cajun recipe for beans and rice

yesterday I tried Zatarian's beans and rice and that came pretty close to the taste of authentic cajun beans and rice. I am looking for a recipe that is authentic. since moving from cajun country many years ago I don't have access anymore to people who could tell me. anyone know?

I'm not sure how authentic this is but this is the way that I make it. Onions, garlic. jalapeno peppers, canned tomatoes with diced chilis in them, chicken broth, rice and black beans. I serve it with corn tortillas and fresh salsa. Yum. My husband could eat this every single day of the week

Do a search on Louisiana Cajun Beans and Rice.
You should get some of the older recipes like your family used to make.
I always use ask.com search I seem to not get so much junk when I am looking for recipes and such.
