In the United Kingdom, aparently Black and White Cats are the most 'unloved', I dont see why. I have two Black and White Shorthair Cats and they are just so cute. What does everyone else think??

I never heard about black and white cats being unloved. But the black cats, yes, they are so much unloved! I think this happens because people have odd believes. They think a black cat bring bad luck. My friend's parents used to have a little black cat. They found her one morning killed in their front yard. I think the poor cat was the victim of the people who have such superstitions about black cats. My friend's parents said they will never get another black cat because of that.

I have a black and white domestic shorthair as well named Pedals and I love him very much. It doesn't make sense to me that the color of a cat would affect how much love and affection that they get on a daily basis. He is a cutie as well and I look back at him as a kitten and he was so small I could hold him in the palm of my hand my wife and I had to scoop him up so he could sit in bed with us.

I have two black and white cats at the moment and I adore them! They are both male cats and they are really good pets. I got them to be outdoor cats so that I could keep the mice away as we live in the country. They do an excellent job of it and we handle them on a daily basis. I don't understand why they would be the most unloved.

I see cats of all colours on the street, maybe black/white combos are just less likely to turn up in litters than, say, whole coloured or tabby cats. Round here I've seen a lot of what I call "marmalade" cats which are just adorable - a mish-mash of every colour under the sky!

I have 7 cats at present one of which is a black and white kitten called fluffball. He is absolutely adorable and has a wonderful personality. I did have another black and white female called mulberry - because she got stuck up our very tall mulberry tree when she whas a tiny kitten. Sadly we had to put her down recently. She was hit by a car outside our garden and had terrible injuries which the vet could do nothing about. My daughter and I cried for hours because we had to end her life but she was suffering terribly so we had no choice. She is now buried underneath the mulberry tree and a few days ago I planted some snowdrops there to remind me of her. What I suppose I am trying to say is that just like people colour doesn't matter it's the personality that is important.

I think that all animals are adorable and especially cats and dogs.I personally like all kind of cats including black and white.I think that when an animal is good and well behaved then is adorable regardless the appearance it has.
