I have this friend who would be absolutely lost without her crockpot. she cooks everything in that crockpot. Now I have tasted some of her dishes and I must say that they were very tasty..I was pleasantly surprised.. She swears she can't do convential cooking like baked macroni and cheese, fried cabbage, turnips souffle, fried apples, something simple but she fry chicken.. She is a very clean person thats why I will try anything that she produces from the crockpot.. So thats why I call her the crockpot queen...but at least NO ONE GOES HUNGRY IN HER HOME!!!!!! LOL

I have had several crockpots in my life. I love them! Food is so tender and suculent because it is cooked with liquid. Crockpot Queen would be a proud name to have.

Now I don't cook everything in my crockpot but I can see why your friend loves using hers all the time. I love my crockpot & make a lot of good tasty meals with it. I too would be lost without mine for many reasons, the main one being that it's just so easy to make a meal using the crockpot. I make the meal & then forget about it until we are ready to eat. Not a whole lot of pots & pans to wash afterwards either so it's a win win situation LOL

I do enjoy using my crockpot, but I don't think I could go to the extent your friend has - some days I just like for things to be cooked faster.

It's good that she's into cooking and that she doesn't let anyone in her home go hungry. It is also a bonus that she's very clean in the kitchen because she makes sure that her food is free from contamination. That means she not only cares about her cooking, but also the people who eat with her.

Well you have to know that crockpots takes a lot less electricity than a stove. I do have a crockpot, but I do not use it as often as your friend does. I cooked a whole chicken in it and stew ect...
