"unconditional love",that's the exact words that i know in describing my mother. coz when it comes to love, she gives her 100% to us and even more. She always put her love ones first and assures us that were ok. I think most of our moms do that and they always put us away in trouble because they know what's best for us. My mom is my best friend, my shock absorber, my strength and i cannnot imagine my life without my mom because living without her seems useless.-I Love U Mommy- :)

I am a mom too, That's why i know how you feel. I love my mom so much, i really can't imagine my life without her too. Mother's love is very unconditional love, since we are born until now. Even though we grow old, our mother's love will never change. That's what i see on my mom, i don't know about other people mom. I'm just lucky to be her daughter. And now, i have my own son, i am a mommy too, My love for my son is so never ending, i love him so much, he's my world, so no matter what happens, i will love him as long as i live, i will protect and nurture him. It's a really different feeling. Now i understands mothers love.

That's true tatzkie23. Sometimes, we can only feel and realize the sacrifices of our mother when we experience the pain and the struggles that they've been through, of how it is being a mom.

Yes I agree with you. The love of a mother is beyond compare. A mother's love is one perfect epitome of an unconditional love. She loves without expecting something in return. Constantly taking care of her kids even if she's tired. I remember when I was a kid and sick, she used to wake up at night and gave me milk to drink. She's always there when I need her. And she is the person who will really work hard just to support her kids and send them to school. More than the love of a father, a mother's love is truly one that no one can fathom. Just like the love of Mother Mary to Jesus and to all of us.

Thanks longbangod. I also agree with you. My mother also do that when I'm not feeling well until now. There are so many things which best describe our mother.

I too have a very close relationship with my mother. Aside from my husband, she is my best friend. I share everything with her and I have found that even though I am married and have a family of my own, my mother will always be there for me. She has been there for me through the good times and the bad, just as I have been there for her. I know that no matter what happens in life, and whatever changes come my way, she is ALWAYS someone that I can depend on. She never judges me, and is always there to give me advice (even when I don't ask) and I know that she will be there for me as long as she lives. I am glad that you started this discussion because I do not feel like mothers get enough recognition in this day and age. I hope that this discussion helps us all to remember how wonderful and important our mothers are. Thanks for the topic, happy mylotting.

Thank you also crivas for sharing your thoughts and I appreciated it. Only our mom can stand beside us when everything goes wrong. Even if others already left us behind, our mother is just there at our back to catch us whenever we fall. They maybe strict or sometimes scolding us when we commit mistakes but its normal because it only shows how much they care and love us and they want us to be a better individuals. This is also a way to acknowledge our mothers who sacrifice so hard for us. I also hope that through this, they will love their mother even more. Thanks again for sharing, happy mylotting. (^_~)

I had no idea what mothers go through and how much they sacrifice for their children until I became one myself. I must say that I have greater love and respect for my mother now that I am one.

I greatly admire unconditional motherly love and try me best to always include some hint of it in the work I do, even if I'm a man, lol. I also love my mother and find in her a supporting crutch when I feel weak, even at this age, because I know she's there and loves me too. People like a mother are actually quite hard to come by OUTSIDE of a mother. All, in, all... lets give a round of applause to our loving mothers! :)
