its always darkest before dawn. i guess it's going to be that way around here. rent was due last week and my sister didn't have her share. kept telling me her husband would be giving it to me when he came up for the weekend. turned out he didn't have it! :/ now the landlord is mad (i can't blame him) but i don't have the money to cover her share, i even told her that. i asked her about the light bill, that hasn't been paid. she was able to get an extension. i asked her what happened to that money. shse replied it was spent on groceries. yeah, right!! their idea of groceries, whatever her son wants to have!! i've been having to take my husband out to dinner all week because he didn't like what was made for dinner. there were a few times where i've bought groceries for the purpose of cooking for my husband. i'll even let it be known that this is what its for, they'll cook it a different way. i can't wait for them to get out. 21 days and counting down....one way or another

I feel pity on you, I hope your sister will take her responsibility and give her share so your problem will then be solved. It's not easy to talk with mad landlord. I just hope the week will not end without you settled already. God Bless You.

she came up with the money. landlord is happy. now to get started in saving the money up for next month. on a happy note, the landlord did ask us if we would be interested in buying this property. so, if all can go well, when we get our tax return we might be able to get the down payment. :)

Hi Angel, As 3honor said..you've been exploited and sadly it is usually those we love that will be the ones to do that to us. My daughter just recently did that to me with the rent money only it was a much smaller amount...only 30.00 that I'd lent her from what I'd set aside for rent. Her boyfriend was supposed to have it and well, you know how that goes...he has to have HIS stuff first. I have never been late on my rent and I did put the money in for her but it really compromised on our groceries for the week. Well, I hope your sister comes through with that money soon and that she and her husband find their own place. It's very hard to live with others even under the best of circumstances. It'd be sad for something like this to ruin your relationship with your sister.

this wouldn't ruin our relationship. just puts a damper on it for a little while. i'm more hurt that she didn't tell me the truth from the beginning.
