the box. I cut the box open and there it was, part of the inside back of the box. Also two box tops for education on the front. So I get to help out my school as well as get some money back. I was looking for some way to get the vitamins I need instead of eating vitamins. Vitamins constipate me, but eating a whole grain or bran cereal with raisins for potassium, works out well for me. Whole Grain total has the same offer. So remember to save your register receipt and cut off the bar code, fill out the form and send it. It seems like a lot to do, but the cereal was $4.99 a box. So it will help on my next purchase of something for less than $4.99. So have you found any really good deals lately? Esp. coupons or rebates on food?

I like to get deals and coupons for products too since it can help save a lot of money in the long run. Cereals can be kind of pricey so to get coupons for them is nice...

Yes, it's a help and you don't see coupons for them as much as you used to. Also the generic tend to be cheaper than the regular namebrands even with the coupons up here most of the time, so this was quite the deal.

I work at a grocery store so I see those kind of things come through all the time. Little coupon type things that are really just mail in rebates, and then we have a lot of times coupons on items "buy this and get $1.00 off this" it is and it isn't a deal, depending on if you regularly buy it or not. Regular customers usually get $2.00 to $4.00 off their next purchase, prints out at the catalina. I usually say "hey don't forget that coupon the next time you come in" when it comes to seeing coupons that have to be cut out on boxes. Most of the time they thank me becuse you just don't think to look on the boxes anymore.

Sounds like you're a very good and thoughtful cahier. Yes, it's not always a buy. Like generic something might be a dollar and the big company may be $2 with a dollar coupon, so it's the same. WE do watch out for that. There aren't as many offers on boxes as there used to be, you're correct.

There are some ladies at work that are going online and getting local coupons. They are getting dome pretty good deals on stuff. I have what they call a value card here. They run it at the local grocery store and it gives me the discount on whatever it was that us on sale that I got. Sometimes I can get things almost free if I have a coupon for it and it is on sale at the same time. They were giving "fuel bucks" for a while that I really cashed in on. On certain products in the store..they changed from week to week...you would get a slip of paper that said fuel buck on it. I filled my tank up with gas a couple of times with those things...it really helped out!!!

For every $50 we spend at one store, we get a penny off per gallon. The families that spend $200 a week on food, cat or dog food, plus toiletries like soap, dish soap, laundry soap, toilet tissue, can get 4 cents off a gallon a week and that really counts up. That's kept on a value card as well as the coupons here. I would like t o do a coupon plus the card. Spending hardly anything for something would be cool.
