Looking at a map

I love to look at maps and atlases and see which countries I will hopefully be visiting in the future. I have an atlas that I often read and look at. I have four different globes. I have visited over fifty different countries so far in my lifetime. On You Tube I saw a guy that is trying to visit every single country in the world. I watched a couple of his videos. I think he is against getting visas and he tried running over a bridge into Russia but the guards caught him. He got into a lot of trouble getting a fisherman to take him over to the Cape Verde Islands. He likes to travel over land and by sea. He does not let himself fly by plane. Do you like looking at maps? Which countries do you see on a map that you wish to visit? What do you think of what the guy is trying to do?

Hi Maxine, I used to see maps a lot, but now I find it easier to search online whatever I want to know. I still love some of the maps that the National Geographic Magazine has sometimes. But those maps have other meaning than checking countries to visit.

Hi Marguicha, I like on-line maps and know what you mean about the maps in the National Geographic magazine being so excellent looking. I am keen on the country maps in the Lonely Planet books. Thomas Cook until recently published a book with some lovely maps in it. It was the Overseas Timetable but is still had excellent maps in it.

I wish your dream of traveling around the world will come true. For my trip around the world I had to let my cottage out and get a working holiday visa for Australia. Good luck.

Hi maximax, from my boyhood I'm interested to look at maps. So I know location of the countries. I used to take pencil in my hand and moved the pencil from one country to another country. It was my game. At present also I look at maps and travel round the world imaginary. I don't want to visit any country by illegal way. I must have passport and visa to visit a country. I have wish to visit China and Europe.

I love maps. I like to look at them and plan which countries I want to visit in the future. It is always exciting to plan my next trips even when I don't have a lot of money to spend on travelling at the moment. When I look at the maps I pick out the countries that I plan on visiting and I think about my choice of transportion. If it is possible I like to fly to one country and catch a train or a bus to the neighbour country. I have decided to visit Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam at the same time, because they are neighbour countries.
