Hello, I just want to share this beautiful and very inspirational story. This was shared to me by one of my friends. It touches my heart. Hope you will learn something from this story and please share your views about the story. Have a great day ahead mylotters! GOD bless. Source: http://help.com/post/527000-a-heart-touching-story A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call ASAP, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor. On seeing him, the dad yelled, “Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have any sense of responsibility?” The doctor smiled & said, “I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do my work” “Calm down?! What if your son was in this room right now, would U calm down? If your own son dies now what will U do??” said the father angrily. The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust we came & to dust we return, blessed be the name of God”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace” “Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father. The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy, “Thank goodness, your son is saved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “If U have any question, ask the nurse!!” “Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes so that I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left. The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was in the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he left running to finish his son’s burial.” Moral: Never judge anyone because you never know how their life is & what they’re going through”.

Hi bravehear, First of all, thanks alot for sharing such a thoughtful story. Its good one. Nice moral inside the story. We should respect each and every persons in the life whom we came across. More than that we should not blame any one even if they seems to be the culprit because every one had their own life. Have a great day ahead !

The story was indeed moving. Some can be rather judgmental without knowing the true facts. It should not also be the case that we expect everything to be done according to what we want and how we want it done. Very good lesson that you have imparted from the story.

That story and the moral are very touching. I didn't really expect the ending. I wish many more people could hear that message and keep it in mind before judging what another person does. Thanks for sharing!

Awww! What the nurse said made me cry! I don't know what to say! It must be hard for the doctor to go to hospital after what happened to his son. It's like the same in the YouTube video I watched. It's a father who sacrificed his son just to save those passengers in the train and after the trained pass, he carried his son and cried!

you are right, this is a beautiful story. thanks for sharing. some people, when they have problems really tend to be absorbed on it. sometimes taking it out on others not realizing that others may be going through much more. but this one is enlightening. it teaches us that we should be composed in times of problems and still be aware of others.

it is really a good and inspiring story. nowadays there is a talk that doctors are money minded. but the doctor in the above story is really a good hearted person and every doctor in this world take him as a role model. since doctor profession is a beautiful and social service profession, doctors should be ready to extend their hands for helping others because people are seeing them next to god.

As I read thru the story, I predicted what would be the ending and I was right. This is the reality, sometimes we tend to judge others because we only think of ourselves. I had read a story just like this and it made me realized that never judge a person without knowing their backgrounds.

That's so sad :( Yes, we need to find out more before we judge anyone :(. But sometimes ego burn up our patience. :(

Wow, this was a sad but in fact a very inspirational story. It made me automatically think about the idea that when we are so consumed by ourlives we forget those around us and what others may be sufering or what others are dealing with. For this reason as you stated not judging is a huge and as humans we need to learn to step back analyze the situation and understand that what may appear our eyes may not be the person's whole story. Thank you for sharing this!
