Dying because it is cold.

In Europe it is on the most places at the moment very cold, there died a few people in Poland and also in some other countries. It is the hard reality, but not everyone is able to have a warm bed. How do you people think about that and what can a government do to get this people into houses or other placed where they can survive the night? In the Netherlands they had made the weeks before special bed in big places like Amsterdam and Rotterdam for the people, but not every government is able to do that because there are in some countries to much people that have to sleep outdoors.

If you think those few beds will help you are wrong. There are way too less beds (I live in the Netherlands) and those who come first will have the bed (and hope you won't get robbed and your coat or shoes are gone). Since there is a lack of beds lets hope they won't send the people away again who try to sleep over and stay warm at the malls or trainstations...
Also.. even if you have a house it's cold if you are not able to use the heath.
In Hungary it's forbidden to sleep outside now.. so the only thing you can do is get caught by the police so they put you in jail for one night.
I don't think the governments are able to do anything as long as they find it way more interesting to give money to the poor people abroad! Which makes people over here even more poor, whole families live on the street. BTW those shelters already been there before the temps were changing.. every big city has those shelters.

I also hope they let people sleep this very cold nights at public places where it is a bit warmer. And the problem that much homeless people have to do a crime to get a warm bed is not the way somebody would have it.
Ans you are right there are always some shelters for people but they have made some extra places for the people because it is so cold. Thanks for sharing your opinion and information!

This is really sad.
Let's wish the government can do something for them.
Or,maybe the government can ask help from other countries as well.

This is a very hard problem and very difficult to solve good. But i hope this night will be better and that there don't die again that much people. The mentality of some people is also not good, because some people do not want to sleep inside because they say the sleep the whole year outside and don't go inside because they have to from some people.

This is something that I am familiar with in my state. There are so many homeless people taking shelter outside. There are tents in the woods on the side of the highway. People sleep under the roof that comes out of the building over the sidewalk. There used to be a nice little shelter, outside of the church. Many would stay there, but the church took it down. Which was disappointing to me. I am so sad about the people who dont have a warm place to sleep. There are shelters, but they fill up a lot. I think it should just be part of living for heat, shelter, water and food for people. The US sends all this money to other countries to help them with these thing and we have a growing number of people in need right here.

I think that it is horrible to know that in such a modern world there are still people who are dying of the cold. We are all sitting here in warm houses with internet and computers, however there are sadly so many people who don't even have enough money so that they can keep happy and warm. We should be doing a lot more to help people who are in this situation. I am sure that there are a lot of us who could afford to pay for the fuel bills for an elderly person for two months a year, which are the times when they are at their most vulnerable. If we could do this then I am sure that we would be able to help to make this world a much better place.

We are inviting to visit our country if their country is very cold. We in the Philippines, do not have a cold season, mostly of the tourist visited our country have pleasure in our climate. More tourist spot has been built in our country, so vacationist enjoy their time in our country. Many alien have been settled their home in our country and have family because of the climate.
