During my college days I had my tongue pierced. The reason why I had it coz I find it cool. But I removed the earring in my tongue when a friend of mine nagged at me for having my tongue pierced. And now I’m thinking of having my tongue pierced again. What's your opinion about this??? :)

See if your hole is still in your tongue. I got my pierced back in 2006 and i took it out in 2010 and out of curiosity i tried to put my ring back through my tongue about a week ago and it is still there. I had to go through the bottom because the top layer was starting to close but i got it through. And my opinion is "Its your body do what you want to do and don't let no one stop you from treating your body the way you want it to be treated"

I have my tongue pierced - I got it about a year ago - and it's still in - and I like it! I think it's a cute addition. I know a lot of people don't like piercings...Well, I'm not one of those people. I don't wear my other piercings in - but I have 2 in my lip, 1 in my monroe, 1 in my nose, and a whole bunch in my ears. LOL. I love piercings! And the best thing is that if you decide you dont' want them after a while, they aren't really permanent! I think you should do it!

I never had really understood why people pierce their tongues. I have friends who have and when I asked them why, they always say that they did it for no particular reason. It's for aesthetics. But it's always hidden so how can people appreciate its aesthetic value?:) But hey, it's really your choice. If you find it cool, then have it pierced again :)

I think the hole of your piercing is still there... just find it, there no need for you to go and pierce it again. I took mine off years ago and it is (the hole) is still there, just the matter of can you put it on yourself because it will be quite hurtful.
