finally a day off

i finally get a day off! woohoo!! what happens?? i'm wide awake due to a thunderstorm going through our neck of the woods!! it's not even 6AM!!! there goes me sleeping in till noon. oh well!! have so much to do, it might as well been a good thing. my sister went to work for the day. my mother and nephew went to visit other sister for the weekend. i'm actually going to have some peace and quiet this weekend. now to repack these boxes that i'm still living out of since i moved into this house. get my kids to clean rooms from top to bottom. then, go out tonight to celebrate my day off and my raise. that's the other good thing...i am the only one that got a raise. WOOHOO!!!!!! guess it does pay off to keep working and not complain about it to them. have a nice weekend

i can't wait till i can start getting 3 days off. my relief still needs a lot more training.

Lol congratulations on your day off! I also wake up early on my days off (today is saturday, my 'weekend' and I am already up - I woke up at 7 AM!!!). Sounds like you are about to have a very productive day - good luck to you! I'm also going to try to do a lot of cleaning/tidying/chores around the house - I have laundry to do for 3 different people. LOL. Good luck to both of us!

i'm calling it quits for the day. i didn't get everything i wanted to do accomplished, but oh well! life still goes on. it'll still be there tomorrow.
