Have you ever questioned yourself when you got to know Christ and seems to know the way things flow when you are serving Him yet then you realized that you are overly doing it and found yourself doing out of obligation but not of love. But as time goes by, you'd realized that when you try to exit out of His way. He will make everything to get you back and able to seek Him and then blew your mind that there's no other way out because still He will be the one that you will missed. Well, I admitted that too. Just like Asaph in the bible in Psalm 73, Head of David's worshipers.. He served the Lord the whole day and envied the people in the world who are more prosperous compared to him. But when he tried to understand everything about their way of life. That was too oppressive to think for him, then He went to God's sanctuary and He understood their destiny. That when they are in a slippery path they were suddenly destroyed. You know the sense that when have fail your health and your spirit is weak but God is the strength in your heart. Surely there is no better and joyful feeling than to serve and worship an awesome KING!!! Blessings to all!! :-D

I do not know how one could be "over doing" living for Christ. I do things because I am expected or obligated to do them, but they are expected and become obligations because I am a Christian. We are suppose to live in this world but not be of it. We are not suppose to be envious of what other people have here. We are suppose to be resting in the assurance that we have greater rewards waiting for us in Heaven.

AMEN!! That was my point. Knowing that "over doing" does not mean in vain to God because everything has seen by our Father in heaven. Great are His reward if we never stop pursuing in Him. :-D

Have we not all been like Asaph at one time or another? It's a learning experience. Thank God that He understands our puny desires and knows how to keep us when we start to look toward the world. I do know how it feels when health fails and strength is gone and then! God appears and we rest in Him, knowing Him in a way that could never be revealed any other way. He is an awesome God.
