Judging Others

No one on earth has the right to judge anyone. I have a friend who is a sweetheart. When this lady's friend showed up, he took one look at my friend and labeled him as bad news and someone who steals and is up to no good. My friend is one of the nicest guys I have ever met! When I used to sit down holding a sign quietly to make money for food and transportation, I had this tall black guy come up to me and say "What is your reason for being homeless?" Before I could answer, he labeled me a drug addict! I have not done any drugs since I was a teenager. That was only for 3 months. I stopped after that and have not and never will do drugs again! Live your life and judge yourself before you go and judge anyone else.

My opinion on judging - the only person you can accurately judge is yourself. You can try and judge someone else all you want, but unless you were born as them, lived as them, and walked as them, you can never justify it.

You're right. And I'd just like to add that even in judging yourself, you could still overlook something. The best judgement will be apparent to all at the end.

Everyone are entitled with their own opinion and the right to express their selves but not to the extent of being judgmental.People should not prejudge other people that might lead to hurting them and people around them.Yes we have the right to express or opinion but in responsible and conscientious manner to avoid any complications in the end.We have to really think before we speak.

A lot of people tend to slap labels on people because of stereotypes that society has just set down on people. When such wisdom is sent down from the mountains, many people just blindly follow it all of the time for better or for worse. It could potentially be true for some people, as stereotypes sometimes do not exist without reason. However, it is unwise to slap a label on someone without knowing the facts. A lot of people just tend to rather look at life through the most simplistic ways possible. Just rather not being able to figure out that life is more complex than that. Of course, perhaps they have seen examples, but just because it happened to this person, does not mean it is going to happen to this person. Nothing in life is that simple. Don't judge unless you know all of the fact sand even then, tread lightly.

Absolutely agreed with you,it is not a good manner to judge and throw some words labeling a person as bad even you never talk or know them at all. I don't do such thing coz I don't want people do it to me. There are just some people who have that attitude judging people they don't know.

Well, according to court policies, if there is pure evidence on the accuse then he will be guilty. so to judge without any evidence is null. The Bible did mention that thou shall not judge for you will be judge. It will be so unfair that you look very unusual then you be judge as an addict already. Your bless to have a good friend.

We all have the right to express our oppinion but only if it is called for and still we really have to think if we should express it. Nobody holds all of the truths in the world so I beleive we should judge less and live more. I live in Brazil and here, people survive off of what we call 'fofoca', gossip. Not a great way to live your life as it is based on being false and makes us ignorant.

Sadly, society teaches us to judge people based on looks. It's thrown at us in the media, and all ties into the allegedly sought after fame and fortune. And unfortunately, a lot of our attitudes come from stereotypes. Reality is, it's more about what's inside that counts. And that is the truth! You can't hide ugly on the inside. It seeps out in every thought and deed.
