I feel so smart

I just brought my holiday tops for the coming holiday season. They were on sale from last years holidays and I got them for $5 each. I really don't think anyone will notice and if they do I'll just brag about the sale I got. These days my pride is in saving money not in dressing in the most current fashions.

You are smart. I was never one to keep up with any kind of fashion. I never cared about designer clothes. And I to look for sales. Good for you. And you should be proud. There is nothing wrong with those cheaper clothes. As a matter of fact, I still have some t-shirts from years ago there were dirt cheap and they still fit me today.

Shoot, if everyone wanted me to dress in the latest fashions just because they wanted me to be able to keep up with the Jones, I would be in trouble. There are times when I might only buy a New skirt or two a yr, let alone considering something New without being on Sale, and often clearance. Hey there is nothing wrong with buying stuff on Clearance and wearing it only for Special occasions. If it is something that everyone else is wearing or was wearing, so be it. It should just be something comfortable that you like for sure. And that was a GREAT deal.

I have never been one into the current trends. I have got a lot of great clothes for the next year when they went on sale. I bet you will be the cutest thing around with your holiday shirts next year.

I love shoping after the holidays and getting things at great prices. Its a great feeling as well. I cant beleive that places still have out holiday decorations kind of werid i guess. I know there is valentines day stuff out, st patricks day stuff out and easter stuff but come on now christmas stuff really thats crazy. Things here go alot faster i guess. I did buy alot of christmas decorations too and it will look good hopefully on the house i buy this year. I cant wait to get them down out of my parents attic and seewhat all we have anyways LOL. Shopping for holidays stuff can be used each year its not something that doesnt look good the year after anyways.

Dear friend, I think, in this time of global crisis, is it right to spend their money sparingly. If you had the opportunity to do something with the modest sum of just $ 5, great! Are you a person to model! I also buy clothes for example, do not like to spend capital, it is important to me to be well dressed and do my figure to be a very tidy person. Take care!

Ha ha, my pride is ALSO in saving money! I ALWAYS scout out the good deals, I usually buy second-hand too at Good Will, Salvation Army, and various consignment shops in the area. Whenever someone compliments me on a shirt or pair of jeans, or a pair of boots, you should hear me, "Oh thanks! I got them for $4!". LOL I don't know why I'm so incredibly proud of these kinds of things, but eh, I am!

Yes gone are the days of plenty, when we can wear designer stuff and things like that and even flaunt and brag about it. It's a sign of times, what was natural luxury or expensive before is now being treated as vulgar so i shun away from this things myself, hard times ahead and we just have to be all practical ( i'm with you there) till all this passes,(I hope at least in our life time) when we could again be what we were....
