For the last 9 months I was looking for a bank to link my paypal. Thank GOD i have a friend who's working in RCBC bank and she introduced to me RCBC MY WALLET VISA CARD and all i have to pay is just 110 to open an account. I am so happy today..I've finaaly linked it to my wallet card.. But i don't know how to continue on my transcation for it says withdraw with two choices.. --Withdraw funds to your bank account Banks in the Philippines 2-4 business days Free for P7,000.00 PHP or more P50.00 PHP for P6,999.99 PHP or less Banks in the U.S. 3-4 business days Free for banks in the U.S. --Withdraw funds to your card 5-7 Business Days P250.00 PHP which of this two?oh please help me.. have you linked you paypaly account to your debit/credit card?

Well, I guess it's the option to withdraw funds to your card. I'm not sure but I think your RCBC My Wallet Visa card falls under that category. I linked mine to my bank account though since when I opened an account with Paypal, there weren't that much debit cards in the market :) But if you want to be certain, I suggest you ask your friend from RCBC if your debit card is classified also as a bank account or not.

So RCBC my wallet isn't considered a bank account then? 250php charge every time you withdraw funds? Yup, you might have saved when you opened the account, but you'll be spending more in the long run.

I had a problem verifying my Paypal account in the past but now, I am happy that I am already a verified user just like you. Paypal is indeed the number one online payment processor ever. Paypal is safe and secure to use. I use the withdraw to bank option in order to withdraw my funds in Paypal. I choose EON Union Bank to verify my Paypal account. Yes, opening an account at EON cost high compared with RCBC. Though, withdrawal of funds from Paypal to EON Union Bank costs only 50 pesos. I had notified in the past that Bank of the Philippines charges 250 pesos per withdrawal in Paypal. I am not sure if what it costs in RCBC. You better contact them or research about it in the web. I like EON Union Bank above all. It is duly recommended by Paypal.

hi kai, Paypay account deducted 250 on my account, RCBC does not cost anything to while withdrawing it to paypal..it was paypal's surcharges :) Did you mean when you first withdraw to your paypal via eon debitcard it's just 50php? if that's the case then Im planning to transfer to eon debit card.. i was ask to choose --Withdraw funds to your bank account Banks in the Philippines 2-4 business days Free for P7,000.00 PHP or more P50.00 PHP for P6,999.99 PHP or less Banks in the U.S. 3-4 business days Free for banks in the U.S. --Withdraw funds to your card 5-7 Business Days P250.00 PHP so i did choose withdraw funds to my card :( and its 250..how about you what was your choice?

If you only asked, many of the Filipino mylotters would recommend you Unionbank's Eon. Your friend is biased. I doubt she even has a paypal account.

For me it was not an issue. As insisted, I completed the formalities via net banking and once it got linked with my bank account and paypal account the process completed. Then paypal added few cents to my account on a trial basis after which I transferred the paypal amount to my account, the procedure completed. Also, as my bank account is honouring a '0' balance withdrwal facility, I can withdraw the money at at time through the ATMs. However, once the paypal amount is transferred to my account, it will take minimum 48 hrs. to reflect in my local bank account. I think you got resolved the issue. Regards

hi clare! Can i ask you the requirements in applying for RCBC debit card? If i would encounter any trouble in applying for eon, Rcbc would be my second option. Thanks.

I always select the s50.00 charge option. Because I am not into rush to get my money from paypal. I can wait for 3-4 days rather than to be charge for 250 to much money to be wasted to withdraw such earnings. I believe patience is a virtue.

As far as I know Eon is a debit card. I haven't heard of an Eon credit card. Eon is primarily used for online transactions, that's why it's affiliated with Paypal. It's also a savings account. When your balance reaches 10,000php you'll start earning interest from it. Eon card can also be used for POS transactions, as an atm, as a visa card. I would really recommend it.
