adobe flash 11 download

hello i am using internet explorer. when i want to see certain videos or something that uses adobe it states to download adobe flash 11. well, i do. when i turn off my computer and put it on again, the adobe flash 11 i just downloaded disappears. i have to keep doing it again and again. what can be wrong . thank you

You need to be aware that some sites will tell you that you need to download extra software or plug-ins to view videos. You should be VERY suspicious of this. NEVER accept a download from anyone except Adobe. Many of these sites are trying to install spyware (or worse) and you will seriously compromise your computer security if you go ahead with it.
Make sure that you have the latest version of Shockwave Flash by going to the official Adobe site http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/ and installing it. The current version is 11.6.4r634. You should NOT need to restart your PC once it is installed!
If you still get an 'error message' when visiting these sites, then be aware of the danger and immediately leave the site.

yes, thank you for those suggestions. i had to do a system recovery, my computer is older and i use windows vista. it seems to be ok now thanks again

if your system is old, it is better to use older versions of operating system too. :)
