Hi guys! I guess we all know that there is a book called "Bible". For christian this book is sacred. However most of them are taken for granted, kept in some place in our house, already dusty, and some are overly clean .Isn't it ironic that most Christians know its sacredness and yet neglect to read it?What is really the importance of bible in our lives? When I was a child I could not appreciate the bible since it contains lots of words and no pictures. As I grew up and became a mature christian , I appreciate its purpose and have continually read it. In 2 Tim 3:16 its says "All scripture is God breathed and is useful fro teaching, rebuking and training in righteousness." This is the purpose of the bible,we may find comfort in its words,it may even discipline and warn us. Let us take time to read it, we have a lot of time for some magazines, pocketbooks and such but we do not give importance to the Bible. If you are indeed a Christian, you should read it. Everything we need to know is in the bible may it be about government, parenting, family, romance, work, etc.Let us take time to read it.:)

My Bible is one of the few things I would reach for if I had to evacuate quickly. I take it to bed with me and read it nearly every night. The words in it are words of truth and light and I've lost count of how many times God has used it to speak to me when I needed it most.

This is so true. We, especially Christians need to really appreciate the importance of the Bible by using it, reading it and applying those words of wisdom on our daily lives. I have studied in a Catholic school for years and our teachers had often reiterated to us the importance and sacredness of the Bible. At first, it was all just academics for me. But as I grow older, I was able to appreciate the beauty of reading the Bible once in a while. I really admire people who make it a point to read a verse or so every day.

Yes, it means something to me. I studied in a Catholic school, 6 years when I was in elementary plus 4 years in college. The value that I had learned had a great effect on me. During my college years, We were required to read the bible in our Theology subject. At those times, I didn't study the bible by heart. I just read it. Now, I read the Bible with an open heart.

Bible is rooted in my life. It gave me hope to fulfill my dreams and goals in life. As a Christian I grew up with morals, virtues and values. I can't deny my entire life is involved with the teaching of the Bible. Bible taught me on how to put words into action and its words of wisdom really amused me. I know my life isn't perfect but with its teaching, promises, revelation gave me strength to be strong and firm. Its a powerful and unique book its chronological stated what will happen to us and the new way of life which is better. I do believe my future will become brighter if I must believe and no matter how long it takes. I know its worth waiting for.
