Yes, you can earn some amount of cents from myLot search and it's so called "myLot rewards" - http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq24.aspx You may granted a reward after doing some searches. Although it looks random, I believe there's an algorithm behind it.. Just don't overuse and misuse that search engine, anyway. The system may automatically recognize it, and give you a warning. And if you get lots of warning, it may lead to account termination.. So, just be careful.

well I have not used the mylot search engines that much but yes i do have used it at times.But i have not noticed any such difference in my earning using search enigine in mylot but as per the prescribed rules in this site your are supposed to get paid and earn more. It is advisable to use the search bar along with equal participation in Mylot.

Like what others said here, don't overuse it to the point where you are already taking advantage of it to earn more. mylot will send you a warning and will ban you completely if you still persist in doing it. Hope that you can earn your reward soon! :)
