I've been having a great couple of weeks, I've received about 3 different promotional giveaways. I had a 5 hour energy guy come to my job today, this isn't the first time it's happened, but it's cool regardless. They just handed me three of these 5 hour energy "energy shots" for free, no strings attached, just to promote their product. I thought this was sweet, even though I don't drink these kinds of things anymore (I stick to coffee after having given up pop and energy drinks). I gave them to my sister's boyfriend, who is all over this kind of stuff. While at the bar last Tuesday for Bingo, I had a Camel cigarettes promoter walk around - and he gave me a coupon for a $1.00 pack of Camels .I don't much like Camels but it was a dollar, and I smoked 'em. For a smoker, a dollar a pack...Sweet deal. AND - a bartender at the bar I've become a regular at is also a Vitamin Water promotional person and gave me two entire free cases of the stuff - in two different flavors! I have been having a great freebies kind of couple of weeks. I have enough Vitamin Water to last me at least 2-3 weeks. I got to smoke a pack of cigs for a dollar (whereas I usually pay $6 a pack for my Marlboros), and I got to give my soon-to-be brother-in-law some energy shot freebies. All in all it has been pretty cool. Have you ever been on the receiving end of a promotional giveaway like this? What was the last thing you've received?

I love promotional giveaways. You don't pay for it, so if you don't like it, your money is not wasted. Not like buying a whole set and then discovering you don't like it at all. Also, I heard (and it might be true) that promotional batches are the best batches (of course the manufacturer wants to give a good first impression).

I have never been as lucky as you have been. The last thing I got was a JC Penney's gift card for five dollars. I ended up giving that to someone because I just don't ever shop there, and wouldn't use it.
