Singing Cards

I would like to know how many people like singing cards? Would it make any difference, if it was in a magazine? Today I opened my new issue of Entertainment Weekly and it has an ad in pink with a lady advertising a new show called GCB. Honestly, I don't mind singing cards when a friend gives me one, but this one really turned me off. This card makes the magazine heavy and the music turned me off from even checking it out. I closed the magazine and now really have no interest in reading the magazine. Have you ever received something that made you no longer interested in even checking out the product? The issue is about the Oscars, which I saw who won on the news.

For me, it depends entirely on how appealing the song is inside the card. If it annoys me I will not open it a second time.

I agree a bad song makes me not want to hear it again. Thanks for the reply.

I don't think I had heard of anything like this until I just read your post. I'm intrigued!

This magazine usually is light weight and easy to read. I'm aware that many want to know why I'm complaining when I don't pay for this one. Its because I like reading the magazine most of the time. There is one really excellent article near the back about the actor from Life Goes On a show from a few years ago. Thanks for the reply.

I meant singing cards in a magazine, not in general.

That is so weird. I get it free too, from cokerewards. But mine didn't come with a singing card.

I think they are nice but they are way beyond my budget to buy. What turns me off and prevents me from reading magazines is the smelly, awful perfume and cologne samples. Even folded over and unopened I can smell their terrible stink 3 feet away. I don't even pick up magazines like that and sometimes, if I'm in a waiting room, I have to sit on the other side of the room to get away from the stench and even then I can sometimes smell them.

I agree some magazines smell terrible, but Entertainment Weekly isn't one of them. This magazine covers television, music and movies with the last page covering The Bullseye the biggest reason I want to check out the magazine. Thanks for posting.

I find it hilarious to receive singing cards, but I would love it even more if upon receiving the card, its relevant to the situation, or that its my favorite artist or song, lol

I love cards singing my favorite songs. Last night while opening the magazine that card just starts playing again hard to avoid it and don't want to tear up the magazine trying to remove it. Several people want to read the magazine. Thanks for the reply.
