For all anime fans, you must have been watching a lot of anime. Well from all of that anime, what the film's most interesting or most memorable?

My neighbor the Yamadas and My neighbor Totoro are also nice to watch. If you love sci-fi and weird films, Paprika is one the best films out there! For love story, Bokura Ga Ita is so romantic but it ends in episode 28 (or maybe that was 29) and I am still waiting for its part 2. It is not a full film though. It is a series. Another good series is Time of Eve. About android and human relationship. Also incomplete as of now

Wow, I love totoro but I haven't been able to watch the "yamadas". I'll check it out. I thought it was boring because of the drawing.

If you're talking about full length movies, certainly Ghibli comes to my mind first. The best Ghibli movie in my opinion is "Whisper of the Heart". Very sweet coming of age story with very nice issues that most people have in their lives regardless of age. As for series, there's a whole lot I like. I honestly can't name a "best one". Of more recent series (2011), Steins;Gate is one of my favorites. It has a very interesting story. Might be too much science fiction though for some people and too complicated for some others.

I love Ghibli films! I have watched Whisper of the Heart and I also liked it too. Other films that I love are Only Yesterday, Graveyard of the Fireflies and Spirited Away. I have read so many reviews about Spirited Away and how it is a Japanese version of Alice in Wonderland. I couldn't agree more I love the story and the animation itself!

I completely agree. All I could think of was Ghibli studios like My Neighbor Totoro, that one has to be my favorite hands down, and Spirited Away comes as a close second. I love his art and the soot sprites :) its so cute. I liked Earthsea and wouldn't mind seeing it again. I haven't seen Princess Monokoe yet, but I have it sitting on my tv stand from Netflix, maybe I should put it in when I get home from work today.

There hasn't been too many anime movies that I have watched. I watched two of the Inuyasha movies and the Escaflowne movie. But honestly I don't think either were memorable other than Escaflowne I was disappointed because it wasn't much like the anime and the voices didn't seem to fit with the anime voices.

I actually liked the Escaflowne movie. I agree the acting wasn't the same as the anime series, but I think it was still a good extension of the series. There are a few things I would have liked to see differently in the movie, but it wasn't all that important you know.

Naruto is the best anime I have ever watched. Humour, action and emotions have been weaved so beautifully that I get absorbed in it every time I watch it. The bond of friendship is the best as we all know and it has been the best emotion in the Naruto seasons.

It has been mentioned a few times already but Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli films are a great place to start. Great for kids, adults, families, so on. I grew up on Dragonball/Dragonball Z, Tenchi Muyo, Gundum Wing, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Rurouni Kenshin, and a few others, all of which I would recommend. A few other ones I've enjoyed are Naruto and Bleach (mentioned multiple times), Chobits, Fruits Basket, Outlaw Star, Getbackers, Neon Genesis Evangelion (they have gone back and started re-doing the entire series as 4 feature length films, 2 of which have already released), Gantz, Berserk, Excel Saga, Yakitate Japan!, Serial Experiments Lain, Samurai Champloo, Escaflowne, Slayers, Full Metal Alchemist, Deathnote, Azumanga Daioh, Read of Die, Eureka Seven, etc. This is moderate list of what I've seen and have enjoyed and ranges from light hearted romantic comedies to gruesome adult dramas to space action/adventures and everything inbetween.

Definitely it would be SPIRITED AWAY! Actually, I recommend all Hayao Miyazaki creations, but this in particular is the best so far since it reminds me of my childhood. :) Its the type of film that allows you to get lost in the moment, even to the point of making you wish you were the main character (if your a girl) to be saved by the dashing, handsome boy. If you want to get away from the usual anime (Bleach, Naruto, etc) and just sit back and relax, Spirited Away is definitely for you! Finishing the movie will leave a warm feeling in your heart. :) Other recommendations include: - Ponyo By The Sea -Princess Mononoke -Laputa: Castle in the Sky -Whisper of the Heart -Porco Rosso -Cat's Return -My Neighbor ToToro

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Fullmetal Alchemist or Sailor Moon. As to movies, I haven't seen all that many but I have enjoyed Howl's Moving Castle and The Cat Returns.

These are the ones I like best of all: Fairy Tail, Samurai X, Fate/Stay Night, Princess Mononoke, Last Exile-Fam the Silver Wing, Sgt. Keroro, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and Hayate the Combat Butler. Quite a number, isn't it?

I notice so many people say Bleach, and Naruto and other extremely hyped up, extremely long animes. I personally got bored of most of those quickly and prefer some of the smaller and, in some cases, lesser known ones. It's extremely difficult to pick one favorite, but I really enjoyed (in no particular order): Black Cat D.N.Angel 07-Ghost Darker Than Black Nabari Gosick

What come's to my mind when someone speaks of anime is Naruto. I think this is the the best anime made so far. But I also love Hunter x hunter and dragon ball z. But Naruto is still number 1.
