AT&T has Uverse. You get it for $29 a month for a year I think. And you get HBO and CINAMAX or something free for 3 months. My question is what about after the year? And what about after the 3 months of free service? I wonder how expensive it is and how many channels you get? We have Direct TV and I live my science channel and my Soap channel. I like a lot of other channels too but those are my faves. So what are your thoughts? Do you know anything about U-Verse?

I don't know about U-Verse. I think once the year ends, you pay the full price. The full price on the movie channels starts when the three month promotional offer ends. Have a wonderful day!

Well yeah, I know that much. I wonder what the full price is? I want to hear from people who have this plan and can expose what the real damages (true costs) are.

Uverse is a wireless service from AT&T for TV and Internet. The $29 per month rate is good for ONLY local TV channels (and free HBO and Cinemax) and Internet service for 6 months. If you want other channels like Soap it will cost at least $59 for the first 6 months. I don't know what the fees are after 6 months plus the serive is only available in very limited parts of the country. Since its not offered here in the Poconos, I can't ever get them to give me a channel line up.

That's good to know. I'd end up paying more than we do already for Direct TV. I live Direct TV because I have the channels I want. I love True TV...like the dumb criminals they show and Operation Repo and stuff.
