How to get popular on myLot?

Hi everyone, as you can see I'm new here. I started several topics but receive few comments even I tried to reply every comment other made for me. I wonder how you guys get so popular on myLot and get so many replies.
There is one thing that I have to admit that I'm poor in English grammar. Will this lose your interests on my topic?

just enjoy your stay here buddy. so what if your poor in english?? just like you buddy my english is also poor. bare this in your mind practice makes perfect :) and you can start your practice here in mylot stay active and participate in the discussions made by others.

I dislike seeing anyone saying that their English is poor because many who do not have English as their fisrt language actually are better at it than many of us who use it every day.
MyLot is a great place to practice and what could be better than having fun and getting paid for it too?

hi kshongmo and the more you participate the better you will get and you will be having fun and actu ally getting paid for it which is nice for s ure. just dont do like i did when I was really new. I got to making x number of posts a day was not enjoying myself and not making money as I was not making quality posts. so I decided
to follow diana's advice and have fun and not count posts. I did much less posts b ut made them quality ones and started to have f un
and really enjoy being here and my earnings were not bad after all.

Why would you want to become popular?
That brings with it a great responsability because if your topics receive many replies you then have your work cut out for you in commenting to all those responses. While you are doing that you might not have time to be responding on topics started by others who have responded on your own topics.
How about starting by adding an avatar so that we can recognise you?
Then just concentrate on participating in discussions that interest you, commenting back to anyone who leaves a comment on your posts and then adding some users to your friend list when you see someone who inspires you.
Patience is a virtue and with time you will have so much to do here that you won't know what hit you.

It is funny you say that about the responsabilty of making topics I felt that way on my twitter site. I would try to come up with funny or crazy tweets all the time and I started to get burned out. Someone would say what happen how come you didn't write a post today or I think the other one was funnier that I just deleted it.

Twitter ugh! I have an account there too but I find it extremely boring as, unlike myLot, there is no real contact with those who are tweeting. Just reminds of a market with everyone shouting

hi kshoongmo not at all, there are zillions of others who have English as a s econd language so we make lots of allowances as we are all friends here. to get popular all y ou need to do is respond to a lot of our discussions so we see your user name kshongmo and say oh this person really responds to my discussions so I will respon to hers and maybe ask her to be my friend too.keep responding and soon others will really respond to yo ur discussions and you c an comment back and make nice earnings too. I love to respond to any
discussion that interests me regardless of the grammar, its what is in the discussion that draws me in. also make your titles catchy so it gets our eyes like how to get popular on mylot drew my interest. lol lol

You should make lots of friends, start nice discussion and comment back then after some time you will also popular in mylot. Mylot is best site for earning and getting knowledge and enjoy life.

I believe you need not to be popular here in mylot my friend. What is more important is that you were able to be a good mylotter. You will only get a lot of responses to your discussions you have made if and only if you have made a good and quality discussion. Don't worry about grammar. As long as everyone understands what you are trying to say, I guess there won't be a problem.

cearn since mylot admins tells us not to make fun or tell newcomers about their grammar as all are welcome here so anyone makes a
problem then mylot admins will box their ears and also delete any unkind response or comment.so we are not to make problems for those who use
English as a second language

Hi Kshongmo I would say just have fun with this site and enjoy talking to others about the topics you like. I don't have the best grammar either but it won't stop me from sharing my thoughts. Sometimes I read things so fast that I might not even notice some grammar mistakes so don't worry about it keep talking and responding.
