handling your anger

i feel anger right now,i wanna shout,i wanna cry,i wanna do something to express my anger!!but the thing is... im here at the house of my mother-in-law.we had a little conversation between me and partner.,how??????????? can you advise me something my mylotters?? i love to hear your side.how can you express your anger if youre in your own house,?? feeling sad today..

When you're angry better stay calm and quiet, don't let it ruin you or your family. Think of all the good things you have and always pray.

Hi ithek, Rather than bursting your anger to people, I would rather just be at my home and just cry in there. Or else, I will just do something like watch a movie on my laptop. I used to post a lot in here before whenever I am angry...or feeling so sad it would actually have me some motivation to keep up with postings. I am sad these days but I am trying to make things work and move on. Life is hard...and it will just get harder if we make it hard. I hope you are OK by now. Happy Mylotting.

I think it is good to take the mind off by watching movie or listening to music that might helps to calm the anger. I think walking off the situation is one of the best solution and not to show the emotion towards others.

Take a walk most times you will feel better. Switch off the lights and listen to some music because music will help to relax. Watch some cartoons like Tom and Jerry because most times you will be feeling to laugh after watching the cartoon. The best thing to do when becoming anger is to take 20 to 30 minutes before reacting because after this oxygen will be pumping to brain and most times we feel relax and will not hurt others with words or deeds. I think another way is to think about the good things about the person whom we get angry or think about the things that have brought a smile in your life. I hope these things will make you feel better and happy.

Life it too short to be angry all of the time, you should just go upstairs run a bath put some nice music on and relax. Then go back down and talk things through with your partner.

hi ithek15 if you are angry you must cool down first then have that talk with your partner and do not include mom in law. Tell your mate why you are angry and calmly ask that he listen to you without interrupting then you will hear him out. compromise if you have to but make it clear you do no want to always be the one compromising you need for him to hear you out what is upsetting you.
