I shared with everyone here a few weeks ago..or i guess that was a month ago now.. that i went to my ob and had my papsmear..that i might have cervical cancer but it is not confirmed. so it is a weeks now and the results are not yet in. How frustrating can that be???? i followed up the secretary of my ob just yesterday and she said results are not yet in. BECAUSE the tests were done in another city ( Manila)...and it might be here by monday.. but MIGHT!!! ugh!!!!

I'm sorry, waiting can be terrible sometimes. My husband and I waited 2 months to find out if his workers comp was going to come through. It felt like forever! Waiting on something medical is even worse though! I hope you find out something soon. And I hope its good news for you.

it sure is frustrating to wait. here in canada, we have social medicine which means healthcare is open to everyone. (if we didnt have that, i dont think i could afford to go to all the specialists that i go to, so i am not knocking it) but the wait times tend to be so long for tests and appointments too so i know what you mean!

jazel--hope it does come soon and its non cancer.waiting for really important tests can be so frustrating as they seldom come right away which I think they should .tests as important as cancer tests would not be held long but done at once so the person can know the truth and act accordingly too. Hope your test results get to you Monday and are benign.

I am praying for that too Hatley, Thank you. it sucks here when it comes to things like that.. things are slow, expensive and there are people who just do not care about the welfare of the people. Tests are even sooo expensive.

Indeed waiting for medical test results is such a torture. Or perhaps it's the fear of the unknown that's making it worst. For me, waiting for test results is one of the hard and scary thing a person undergoes. If you're experiencing unpleasant symptoms which are unpleasant such as pain and trouble sleeping, waiting for lab results to come back will surely prolong your discomfort. And that if you're facing a possible terminal illness, that waiting will definitely be unbearable. Anyways, being frustrated onto waiting is really normal for someone waiting. Hopefully, the results will be okay..
