Listia good or bad

So I joined this online auction site called Listia. It is sorta like Ebay but you don't use money. You Auction off things for free (or their tokens of sorts) and earn tokens. Then you use these to bid on other things. I am not sure how I feel about this site just of yet. I put up a couple patterns to see how they would go but I email them so no money needed to be spent to do so. I won an old McCallas magazine which was cool and it came very quickly. SO has anyone else used this site and if so do you like it?

well, I have returned to mylot after over 2years. nearly. And this is my first response.
I have been with LISTIA and, found it to be very very good. Members also are so kind.
Actually, i won a listing there from USA, and the member has sent me FREE SHIPPING, bearing all the costs. And, it was a wonderful game cd WHICH my son liked a lot.
your experience also seems to be similar.
so, I would say, LISTIA is GOOD.

I use it sometimes, most of the time you get what you win. Sometimes you dont and you have to request your points back. When youre selling, sometimes you get what the product is worth and other times you dont, depending on your starting bid i guess. Sometimes the people like to say they didnt get your package even when you sent it. You can get good stuff so it can be fun but at times it can be frustrating.

I have heard around about this site but I would really like to try this based on your post, sounds cool and sensable, can you mail real items I have books i'm not ever going to use again...???

I've heard if listia but haven't had a chance to use. I do have some clothes I guess I xouks try out on there. Thx for reminding me about this site!

I did Listia for awhile because I had some things around the house that I didn't really want or need. I could trade them for something I wanted. But it costs me a lot in POSTAGE. That is a hidden cost that is not really stated in Listia. It just wasn't worth paying the postage for my unwanted items in exchange for something I found on Listia.
After a while, I just couldn't find any bargains on Listia. I wanted to get some yarn but it costs me more in the Listia points (and postage) than it was for me to just buy the yarn at the craft store.
It was fun for awhile but it did not really save me any money.
