Every time that my hubby told me I am so pretty I felt shy. I don't know why but I know we(woman) should be proud since we get compliment from our husband,but I don't know why I am feeling shy every time he told me that I am pretty haha it's making me blush and all I do is make him stop saying it. How about you (ladies) out there? What do you feel everytime your partner compliment you? Do you guys feel the same way I do? What do you guys do?

I guess that I am one of the weird ones, because it has almost never made me feel shy when any of my boyfriends have complimented me. In fact, there have been very few guys that could make me feel shy or awkward. There have been a couple of times when a guy I was dating made me feel uncomfortable with his compliments, but that was only because he was going overboard and it seemed like he was trying too hard or was being insincere or something, which is different than feeling shy from a true compliment. I bet you can guess that these latter relationships did not last long.

Hi purple, I thought everyone here felt the same way I do haha. Well I would be feeling awkward too if the guy or other compliment me with a bit trying hard. But then I think I need to start getting use of it 
and better stop being feeling shy haha

As you feel shy when say that that mean that you are so polite and that you are very very beautiful and feeling shy is a good impression that make you in a high level with your partner and make hem loves you more and more

I'm the same way when my husband does that as well and its because I'm not use to guys ever telling me this other then my own dad. So its nice to hear it from my husband but at the same time its like I'm really not use to this kind of niceness coming from someone I love so much that loves me as much as I love him.

There are a lot of women that feel the same way its just about finding them. I try hard not to get shy about it but some times I do have to tell my husband it makes me feel odd when he does it or not normal for me.

you're acting like a girlfriend being told by her boyfriend, looking great with their first monthsary. Anyway, that's too cute of you to feel that way, you guys still have spark for each other. And i also feel shy when i got compliments from my boyfriend..It's just flattering and makes big smile on my face.

Yeah it's the same with me, my boyfriend had to tell me the other day that I need to learn to accept his compliments. Truth is I'm not used to it, so now that he's telling me he finds me sexy or beautiful I find it hard to accept it, in part because I don't see myself the same way.
But girlfriend be glad that after four years, your husband not only considers you beautiful, but he's expressing it. That's some real love right there :)

Oh really wow I must start to accept his compliments then haha I don't know but I always feel shy every time he told me that. Just like you too he have told me to accept his compliments but I feel like both shy and flattered
