Treated myself today

Went by Ross on the way home with a friend. I got some camisoles and I also bought one cute shirt, and two cute pairs of shorts. All of this was about $32.00, with the camisoles only being about $4.00 a piece. I would have kept on shopping too, but I knew I needed to get out of there. Still I am happy with what I got, and i will treat myself again this summer at some point. The weather is beautiful now, I love it. Anyone else went shopping this weekend?

I rememeber going to ross' a few years ago accompanied by daighter, DIL and some of their friends. I just stood there idiotically, not knowing where to lok or what to do. So my daughter just pushed me to the changing rooms and she and my DIL brought me so many clothes to choose from. Bought about 4 beautiful lines dresses for a fraction of the original cost and shoes and bags. It was a shopping trip of a limetimes as I spent at least Us$250. I remember Ross' with great affection

Ross is great and so is a store called Marshalls. Neither of them you can shop from online, but that is also because I think they get their clothes from many different stores since it's like "overstock" or "not sold" stuff. I am so glad you are okay! Dawn was saying you had to have heart surgery? Or has it yet to be scheduled?

You should tell your husband to let you buy clothes once in awhile, say once every month it is because you are working you need to reward yourself with the things that can make you happy, if he love's you he will let you.

Sounds like you had fun and got a few things you needed for summer. Not a bad deal either with your total only being $32.00! I'm happy for you and glad you took time to treat yourself! I need to plan a shopping trip in the near future, I just hate giving up a Saturday to shop!

It didn't take me long to shop at all. I just looked kind of fast, and had to make split decisions on what I wanted. I'm a pretty fast shopper when I want to be or need to be.

This was payday weekend for the roommate, so we went out and spent like anything! But the freezer, fridges and pantry are full, so we won't starve these next two weeks...

It is always fun to go food shopping. I don't buy too much food myself, not enough room to put it but if I did... I do need to change my diet.

Wow I'm so happy for your shopping. I cannot show now though because I'm saving money for something. I hope I can shop soon too. Good luck. Have a nice day!

I just shopped last week! It was accidental! Haha. I never expected I'll end up shopping. I had a date with my boyfriend and we shopped. I don't follow trends too, I follow my own style and I'm always for the cheapests.

I hope you can as well. Shopping for a new season is always fun. I don't get the newest and most up to date trends, I just get the cheapest,or cutest that I know I'd wear.

No not this weekend, I am kind of burnt out on shopping for myself as I really don't need anything else tight now. There are so many clothes I have not even worn yet, too. I am trying to cut back, tomorrow is the 25% off day at the Thrift store and I really think I should sit this one out this week. I might just go to get out of the house though. I will look for some more shoes that I can resell if they are a high end brand name, but that is all.

I went to Ross which is a really cool store. You can find really cute clothes and at good prices, and I love that about the store. I need to go through clothes I never wear and get rid of them or put them in boxes to "consolidate" them from where they are now. I've not got much that could be re-sold.

Hi Cowgirl, glad to hear that you treated yourself today. you know shopping is one of my ways to beat the hustle and bustle of life.. recently, i did some shopping for myself. i bought a new pair of jeans, a cute vintage tee and some accessories at forever 21 in Makati City.. forever 21 branches are sprouting like mushrooms. id just hope that they would put up one here in Alabang area since makati is kind of far from home.. i am going through a real tough problem these days and i wanted to forget them for a while by buying all i wanted for myself..

$4 Camis?! Where! I definitely need some new tank tops/camis. But I can never find them that cheap. i have found some at Forever 21 & Charlotte Russe (two big cheap-er stores aimed at teens mostly) for about $10 a piece at the cheapest. My problem is that they are mostly all too short (I have a long torso). Which stinks because I wear tank tops to LAYER. Not to wear a belly shirt. . Anyway congrats on finding such a good deal! I am going to go thrift shopping this weekend, I just decided. Wish me luck!

Good for you. As for me, no shopping this weekend and for the next days maybe. I am trying to save up to pay some testing fee :(. But it is ok, I will be able to shop if I can earn extra cash.

I shop not for myself for my daughter, It is really really nice to treat yourself once in awhile you know it is way of pampering yourself-rewarding yourself with the things you like and the things you like to buy hehehehehehe, but what I did last weekend I gave a free dinner to my family, it is actually nice to also give out something to your family and share I love my family so much that is why if I receive something I always share it with them...but nice for you, you were able to buy the things that will make you happy and can boost your morale to work even harder. Cheers!

I am glad that you had some fun with your friends and that you got some great deals. I will be going grocery shopping later on today and am hoping that I can save money. I am trying to find ways to make money online so I can buy some clothes that I need. Money is tight with me to begin with, but it is harder when my parents expect me to give them money towards their bills. My mother wants me to work full time and hire a nurse to take care of Randy which I refuse to do because I feel that as his wife I should be the one taking care of Randy. I am also a full time graduaate student and am in my last course where I have to write a long paper and need time to get it done so working is hard for me to do. Randy cannot work and we are in the process of getting him social security and disability. Shopping is something I would love to do, but I do not have the money to shop.
