What about this one from Nick Joaquin's MAY DAY EVE: If you look into a mirror on the eve of May 1st, hold up a candle and chant: MIRROR, MIRROR, SHOW TO ME HIM WHOSE WOMAN I WILL BE (OR HER WHOSE MAN I WILL BE)--- you will see the one you are fated to marry. That is if all goes right. If things don't go right, on your left shoulder you will see the devil!!!

there are lot of myths in India, for eg if you are preparing to go outside, and someone sneezes then one should wait for sometime because something bad will happen, similarly if a black cat crosses in front of you, it is also considered bad, if you are having itching in your palm you will get money, there are so many i just cant think all of them right now

Howe does peeling a red apple let you see your future partner? A myth I heard growing up was if you get stuck by lightening or if a bird poops on you, you have good luck coming your way. Another myth was if a bird flies in your front door. Someone in the house who witness it will die shortly. (this actually happen to my family)
