Guys,I am a class 12 student. The life was just hectic since last year.NO time to chill out with friends,NO time to call at relatives. We are forced to bury ourselves in the course books. The question makers don't ask what we study. They just ask some stupidities. After exams come entrance exams and we are more screwed up.I want to become an IITan,that's the only reason why am sticking to these spoiled educational system. i wish i could change it...............................................................

I am with you my friend. A student life is full of challenges and it is never ending. Don't feel bad because that is how a student life is. What you shall do now is to embrace it. Enjoy your being student because we will not be a student always in our entire life. I am also a student just like you. In times that I am drawn with so many things to do like projects, paper works, and other responsibilities, I feel tired. It is just normal. It even came to a point I almost gave up but I remember my family and my dreams in life. They are the reasons that keep me moving. Wish you a happy day.

In general, life is indeed full of challenges. And it's quite true that we won't be always a student (goes to school) so treasure every moment. Though learning is the undying revelation of life so we learn things in our own ways.

I am stuck in the exact same situation like you. What's worse are my parents expecting me to get an A* to all my frikin GCEs! When people always expect so much you feel demotivated. But as I look back from all my final years of highschool I realized the hardships I overcome, whether good or bad I overcome them. It took me twelve years to reach this far and it is coming to a close. Enjoy and savour every last moment, even if it's short, of highschool life like a potential girlfriend, close friends, teachers and family. It is going to change forever, whether good or bad. And so look up and stand proud you have gone this far where others did not achieve. And savour, savour the beautiful moment you spend with your friends, classmates and teachers (possibly parents if they're ok) because you may not see those facess anymore.

Education is very important and believe me it sucks at the moment but surely it'll help you a lot in the future especially to achieve your dreams.. Learning is a mixed up of failures and achievements so don't be despair if you screwed up in the exam just do better next time.

I also think, your are somewhat right.. Because I finished my 11th and 12th 2 yr.s back and now I'm doing my engg. when we are student, it needs to be topper there and put really hard work., because we are told if we do very hard work only then life is going to settle. k., after that comes professional course, again the same thing. at the beginning we are told "if you do hard work for the next 4 yr.s ; then future 40 yr.s is to enjoy..!" well, I'm in professional course.m now... some of my seniors, who finished the course and now are working in company are being told, work hard and be the the best employee.!! Some people work more than 12hrs. in companies., and earn huge amount; but really they don't get time to spend that money and enjoy with their family..!! still we need to go... I wish; let your wish come true.. All The Best.

Education system is some countries really do put lots of pressure on the students. I believe all students need to put best efforts to achieve their highest capabilities; still, there has to be encouraging options available to accomodate all students with different ability and aspiration. Not all students can achieve the highest remarks, but they also deserve to have a positive & hopeful future. Anyway, all the best with your studies... And try to enjoy your weekend

The Indian education system is, of course, rigorous. However, it has it's benefits. While we have a lot of coursework, we study a lot from books, the same prepares us for applicative processes. Education outside is more application based, as you may have found out already. However, hard work is really important, be it anywhere in the world. It's a different kind of hard work, but it's hard work nonetheless. If you do not want to grind your nose to the textbooks, and want to opt for a creative career revolving around innovation, you can consider studying abroad. Such a career in India, though rewarding, may not be something that will get you out of the rut. You will need to prioritize whether it's money you want, or a fulfilling career. There has been no significant development in technology in India that can be boasted off, in recent times. I do not see significant scope for a very creative career here.

I know what you mean. I just graduated from college and at the end I thought I was going to die from being so overwhelmed. I was a full-time student, worked full-time and was pregnant. I actually had my baby during the finals of my last classes. Talk about insanity. My freshman year of college, I went part-time, worked part-time and partied full-time and almost failed out. I realized I had to start taking my education seriously, as hectic as it was, and slowly started getting it all figured out. By the fourth year I felt like I had it all down to a system that couldn't fail. The key is to plan ahead. Find a schedule, a routine to follow, so that you will always have time to do everything that needs to get done in your life.
