' A newspaper is the history for one day of the world'. Now newspaper are brought out in many languages in our country. They give us news of events that takes place in different parts of the world. We cannot think of modern life without them. The newspaper gives us news of home and abroad, speeches of politicians, reports of sports, activities of the states, reviews of films and advertisement.
There are also articles on industry, agriculture- even stories and puzzles. People now read the newspaper for both pleasure and profit. It brings the news of all and for all.
It shapes public opinion. It prints the policies of the political parties and the states.
It publishes the articals written by great scholars. Newspaper reading is the easiest way of increasing genaral knowledge. But sometimes we get conflicting reports of an event.
A press must be free. It must not feed false news. It must give impartial news and views. It should give guidance to the masses. Newspaper are the schoolmaster of the common people.

I read daily newspaper. actual I am a reader of 'The Times of India'. it is very popular news paper in india. and I also read 'anandabazar' daily. it is a bengali news paper. and it is also so popular in bengal. so which news paper do you read friend?

Oh really it is so popular in bengal. But there have no any international news. So I read some english news paper for update ownself.
So you can also try to read any english news paper where you can get every news national and international. But that is also true no one can give you better news than 'anandabazar' about your state and district. So keep study this.

Yes,newspaper plays a crucial role..It helps in the improvement of English language..This is the main importance..But do you think People watch news in T.V than newspapers??

I don't read the newspaper, like, at all. I can find my news information elsewhere, and so I usually do. We don't have a subscription to any kind of newspaper except for the local one (which is free and we get automatically). Sometimes I read that one though. Happy MyLotting!

Newspaper is similar to a global of info. You can learn even to get know ambiance of the around the world by sitting it only. But i more familiar reading article or read news online. That quite better for me.

For me in the morning if I don't read the newspaper then my day doesn't starts well as it gives good knowledge about what has happened in the country in the previous day and not that only it also gives the news of the city in which you are leaving.So it is a good way keep yourself updated about the goings in the country and we also get to know what things the government is trying to bring in the country.In the newspapers we also get top know what the top celebrities are doing nowadays and who is in relationship with some one else and what are the films which are going to be released recently.
I like to read the news about the city in which I live and then in the country and then I turn to the sports page as I am fanatic of sports so I like to keep myself updated on the sports section and then turn to the celebrities section.
