I recently watched the Hunger Games movie yesterday. And for the first time, I can say that this is the movie that is actually better than the book. The book for me was a bit boring and lacks emotion. I guess the writer is a bit young and has limited skills whan it comes to writing. Of course there were some changes made in the story line to I guess make it more interesting. But that is already given to every novel based movies. After the movie, there were some who applaud, I was not one of them but I really really enjoyed it. I can't wait to see the next movie. I am excited to see Gale again, he's so cute. I hope he will get more exposure on the second movie this time,

Okay I just responded to your discussion about the book and I saw this one. It sounds like it was an okay movie then. I know when it comes down to it, I do like the movies a little better then the book, but still wish some things sort of explained in the book was adressed more in the movie. I've not read either the book nor seen the movie for the Hunger Games, but I am glad you enjoyed it. I do want to atleast read the book and eventually maybe get the movie when it comes on DVD.

If I am not mistaken, Hunger Games is a hit there in US. The book was famous there, long before they decided to make a movie about it. The Hunger Games I think is a bit different movie, but its still a regular movie fore me. If I can compare it to the other movies I've seen which are definitely good, I think Hunger Games is okay. It more for teenagers I think, except for the violence.
