What is the star and the number that is near your user name?

Any one can tell me what is the star is for and the number means what, if there is mean for it?

If you READ the page to which I directed you, you wouldn't need to ask! "[b]The star next to your username represents your myLot reputation. You will need a user rating of 100 before you are able to receive a reputation. Your myLot Reputation rating takes into account various factors including the Discussion Ratings System (DRS) and is based on a scale of 0 to 10 stars with 10 stars being the highest.[/b]"

its too many informatin on the page, its nice to help people and make it simple, yet i do not understand what is the 100 rating, is it for each level 100 rates?
