I'm planning to watch this again for the Holy Week since it will help me remember how Christ has suffered and died just to save us. It is a really good movie which not only shows His sufferings but also how good a person He is and how He touched the lives of many people. The acting was very good too- superb especially Jesus and Mary.

The movie was really great but I think some parts have been exageratted like when he was being beated before carrying the cross. I am sayng that it was not the exact thing tha happened. It was too much that even the viewers can really feel how the pain is. Very good director for making the viewers feel those things.

Yeah too gory a sight there, maybe it was exaggerated, but who knows if the Romans did treat their convicted criminals that way. I would watch it again in full color HDTV if I can get the chance, last time I saw it was on a CRT monitor that doesn't lend much credit to the full color technology of Mel Gibson Productions. Makes for a whole new viewing (and cringing) experience.

We really don't know if that are the real scene during that time or just been exaggerated. Same here, if given a chance to view it again I will.

Speaking of this movie "The Passion of Christ", I have watched it last Tuesday night. Just like you I wanted to see this movie in order to remember our Jesus Christ's sacrifice to save us from our sins. As I have watched it, I was really touched. I regret all the bad things I have done. I wanted to renew myself. All the sufferings of Jesus are encompassing. Even though those people didn't believed in Him, He is still not afraid of what might happen to Him. He faced it bravely for He knows He has His God the Father with Him.

They always have The Robe and the Greatest Story Ever Told on so I doubt I will need any other entertainment in that direction. I do have Passion of the Christ in my Netflix queque so I will be seeing it soon.

I've only watched the movie once, and that was the Easter weekend after it had come out. I was with my Mom because I was under 18... not sure how much under 18 but I think I was mid-teens. It was the first time I'd ever seen an R rated movie in theaters and I think it's still the only one I've ever seen in theaters. It was a really powerful film, and I own it on DVD... but I'm almost afraid to watch it again! Maybe I will this Easter Weekend.

I loved that movie. I would have to seek a special mood though to watch it again as it hurt me to see the last half hour of the film. I remember that it was very interesting, with the different languages as it must have been. Yet the passion made me realise that we were all worse than beasts and I was completly shaken.

hi there lady, I love the movie too and i have made it a personal tradition to watch the movie every lent so that i can remember our lords suffering and be thankful for his gift to us our life and salvation i think if i were to say what is the best part in the movie it would the part were he was carrying the cross and fell down and Mary went up to him then he said "mother look i will make things all new" I'm sure that is the sens of what he said, what an awesome Lord that he is.

Hi lady! I remember I watched this when I was in college. This movie was shown in a film showing event during the Holy Week celebration of the parochial church in the town where my school is located. I enjoyed the movie a lot and I really appreciated the history it told although I was a bit unconvinced of why the church had to allow children to watch it. Of course they were with their parents but still, you can't expect that their parents will be able to explain everything to their children. Anyway, just seeing the title of this movie made me want to watch it again. I hope I can go home soon and download this.

I have learned Latin and I have had a quite complete classic Latin library until some burglars took 2000 of them. I was amazed by this movie partly in Latin, and I saw it two times, though I cannot explain the success of this film : for me it is an average movie with too much violence.

In my personal view, Mel Gibson really did a great job in portraying Jesus Christ in the movie "Passion of Christ". The movie is touching, especially when they showed the sufferings Christ did for the people/sinners. I always consider this movie as a must watch during Lent Season since it makes people aware of the hardships Christ did for the people.
