Dreams that make you Smile

I had a hard night last night. I've been ill and out of school (a very bad school that I'm seriously thinking about not going back to) since December. Last night I was nauseous. I threw up a few times, got in bed and tried to sleep sometime around one in the morning. I had a big pain in my stomach and it was hard to fall asleep, but I eventually did and I had this dream: I dreamed that I "woke up" in the middle of the night and my cat, Nenya, was in my room. I scooped her up to take her back to her kitty bed. When I opened the door out of my room, I was startled to find a huge atrium-type room. I was standing on the second level and looking down into what appeared to be an assembly line factory filled with my old classmates. (For the record, I don't remember many of these classmates that fondly) Before I know what's going on, I'm forced into a van with all my old classmates. They're talking about staying up all night partying and I'm getting very uncomfortable. Somewhere along the way I lost my cat. We arrive at a strange house and everyone piles out. They all gather in groups, drinking and talking about things I really don't want to be a part of. I'm standing alone and feeling awkward. I sit on a counter and look down. I can hear them snickering and talking about me, making fun of me. Then, out of the blue, a boy that I like from outside of school shows up. He smiles at me, and I'm so glad to see him. We start talking, and everyone who was pointing and laughing at me suddenly fall quiet and I hear them asking each other who this boy is. The boy and I agree that neither of us want to be there, and we walk outside together holding hands. We walk away from the part, out into the beautiful starry night outside. Then I wake up for real and I'm smiling. It's not the best dream I've ever had, but it made me smile when I wasn't having a great time. Anyone else have a nice dream that just made them feel a little brighter?

hello ally! I love discussing about dreams... I believe that dreams were reflection of our subconscious mind...I feel happy for you about your dream. I have a nice dream also that made me feel better. -I was walking in a mountain full with green grass and I remember that it was morning time. At the top of the mountain, I saw the beautiful sunrise. When I look back, I saw my crush coming and getting closer towards me. I feel happy! Then, I just don't know why that he was chasing me and following me wherever I go.LOL!And I keep on avoiding him. - Another scene flashed. I am walking in a barren land, but I was amazed to see gold and silver coins on the ground. The land which seems like a desert was filled with coins all over the place! I pick one of the gold coins and I can feel that it was really a gold because it is too heavy. I hear someone calling from far away so I kept on walking thinking that it would be my crush. I cant explain why I'm avoiding him. -The next scene flashed. I was riding on a dangerous ride...it seems like a Ferris wheel or something but I really can't remember. Despite of being afraid, I end up seeing myself very happy and laughing for enjoying the ride. Then, I look downward and I saw my crush is waiting for me to get down! - The last scene followed and I was walking so fast because my crush was one step closer to mine now! I saw some people enjoying swimming on a swimming pool and I saw a beautiful sunset. now, I don't know why I had this strange dream. But I feel happy because my crush is there following me in my dreams!LOL!

That sounds like a pretty good dream, though I wonder why you didn't let him catch you! I think I run towards my crush in my dreams. Though it would be nice to be the one getting chased for a change. I don't really think of dreams as a reflection of our subconscious. I've sort of subscribed to the theory that dreams are just the imagination running wild, making sense of random nerve firings in the brain while we're asleep. I still love dreams though, they amuse and inspire me.

Many times in life I feel we have these type of dreams to help show us that in some ways our life may not be as Bad as we are thinking, and we need to start focusing on other things. I know where I work people are always talking about me, and many times it is not that Great. But I just really try not to let it bother me, and hope one day that they will really be envying me from a distance and wish it was them.

I wish... though I'm not a believer in dream prophecy or dreams coming true in reality. I don't know that it served as a reminder of anything, other than of what I've been through and why I left my school and what I still want out of life (but I didn't need a dream to tell me, I could have told you straight! lol ) but it is nice to think that maybe I'll turn out the one everyone envies from a distance.

Well I don't know that I would name that percentile. I think I would say most of the time dreams are just kind of mundane, then there are the dreams that make me happy, and the dreams that make me sad or scared. I like the dreams that make me happy the most of course!
