Well pain relievers are good for there worth they take away pain and really provide you help so that you can do your job without worrying about pain but is it worth ;long term if it hits your liver bad? Anyway i just advise to make sure that you drink in moderation and with consultation to your physician, it may look okay in small quantities but may hit you in the long run.

I only use painkillers when I get a flu and not in a high quantity. Despite that I'm only using them when my doctor says so.

Well I try to avoid taking medicines sinces in the end your body is a little weak after taking strong antibiotics. That's why I might just use a couple of painkillers for a couple of days whenever I am sick except if I keep being sick for more than 5-6 days that's when I visit the doctor for some medication. :)

Well I suggest that before you do try to start taking something you consult the doctor i know it is kinda impractical but i think it is much safer to get a doctor to sign off on any medication or possible medical approach on your current medical status.

I take a lot of pain relievers. I take pain relievers right away even I feel a little bit pain only. Taking pain relievers are not good for you. Like me, I need stronger ones now since mild ones won't work for me anymore.

Oh my goodness chic, what the? I mean is your pain tolerance low, this could lead to addiction on pain killers, i think you should check with your doctor regarding the matter, but if you have some kind of medical issue that needs the medication then scratch my suggestion, okay i hope your doing fine.

I never take any medication that I don't have to. Medications have side effects and unless the medication is for something serious, I skip the heavy stuff and depend on an occasional aspirin or Tylenol.

Hi there Vicar, Well good for you that you don't take something that you do not need, there are a lot of people that think that self medicating is good and which the end results are not always good , well anyway let us only use what we need so as not to put any unwanted stress on our body.

Hi there laken, Well good for you i mean it is bad enough for some other people to have pain even more that it is bad for the liver, well you are one of the lucky ones that do not suffer with some kind of chronic pain, so we are doin fine seen we do not require the medication that is a double edged sword to some.

I do take some pain killer but I preferred only those low doses medicines. Most of the time instead of drink pain killers, I just took herbal medicines which also effective, safe and not harmful to the liver. I am not a fond of pain killer medications since I have some allergies and might suffered my liver in the long run. Consultation to a physician is important to give the right dosed of the medicines and to give the right treatment and medication for your pain.
