Reasons for mylot subtracting money?

From Time to time I see that i have earned some change here on mylot. The next day or hours later i see that some of that change was subtracted. Never a lot. Just a bit. I understand why this happens when a comment has been removed or a post. But why does this happen with no explanation sometimes? Is it just a glitch in the system? A mistake? Will it be credited back? Or was it never supposed to be credited to begin with? I am not angry at this because it is not a lot of money. But I do find it kind of odd. For the simple fact that I have put together some very good quality posts. I put real time and effort into everything I do. I am just not understanding how the money aspect of mylot works. I am also aware none of you will know the answers to my questions, Without pointing me to the TOS or a previous discussion on this very matter. But if anyone wants to shed any light on this, or share similar feelings. Please do so. I am also new to the site and in no way knocking it, I am not expecting more than It is. I am very much a big fan of mylot, and intend to continue to use it on a daily basis.

Hmm this is interesting. I just started using the site two days ago. So far I have earned something which is kind of nice since I want to use myLot earnings to cover site hosting expenses. Perhaps the earnings decrease is due to some people deleting discussions. I participated in a discussion yesterday that got removed so maybe tomorrow I will have a little less money unless I generate enough today to make up for any lost revenue. I am linking the site because it generates fast revenue that you can see daily. I may even push for referrals if everything looks ok with the site.

It is really good! The earning system just fluctuates. It was my fault for not understanding the rules and regulations correctly. As pointed out to me in the faq by another member above. Sometimes discussions are deleted as you have stated. And that is when you may notice one day your earnings dropped a few cents. The best thing to do is avoid participating in any discussions that violate the rules. This may still happen from time to time as no one is perfect. And new members are learning the ways of the site. I have noticed myself that this doesn't happen as often as it did when i first joined. I'm sure it may happen again. But it is not a big deal.

Its just what they do, I have had a couple of posts removed just simply not enough people have replied to my posts. I wouldn't worry about it. Still have fun writing replies and helping others :0)

MyLot NEVER remove a post because there were 'not enough responses'. Discussions are removed ONLY if they violate the Terms or Guidelines.

May be for you, your quality is good, but it is the Admin who decide which post is quality or not. If you can see the number beside your name in close parenthesis that is how Admin rate you it is called DRS. In myLot they are very particular in spelling as well as your grammar and the relevance of your post in connection to the discussion. That`s why before you post your response their is preview response for you to review your response before posting.

jbf you are getting things a bit muddled up. The DRS is the Discussion Rating System and has nothing to do with the number beside our name. It concerns the star (which should appear when you reach 100) The number beside our name is the user activity rating. Both are explained here: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq11.aspx In the guidelines we are told: "Everyone is welcome at myLot, we have users from all around the world and they are welcome regardless of their proficiency with the English Language" http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx We have a 'preview' button which we should use before submitting our posts but nowhere are we told "In myLot they are very particular in spelling as well as your grammar".
