I also feel tired all the time these days like you. I think a lot of it is the stress that we live under. Life is continually asking more of us all the time. I also drink a lot of coffee and have for many years. Some people can't drink it or the caffeine makes them overly hyper and it runs into their bedtime. others like myself can drink gallons a day and still fall asleep.

It is because you lack sleep last night. Sometimes when I go to bed late night and woke up early the following day, it makes me feel sleepy. Not only that, my head really aches. When I sleep late and need to go to work the following day, I really feel sleepy. I just drink coffee (black one) to wake me up, then, I need to take a nap during lunch break to make me refresh again. However, my wife told me that it will make my headache worse after taking nap but I really can't fight taking nap. hehehe

hi annrielyn yes I have had insomnia off and on and will go back t o bed after we have breakfast at 7 am ,asleep for two hours, then get up; but I keep feeling like I am going to tall asleep . a moment ago I dozed off sitting here and typed four rows of o's for heaven's sakes. So hope I can relax tonight go to bed at ten and really fall asleep. My roomie keeps nagging me to go to bed at eight which I have not done since I was eight years old. I do not sleep well that early.I used t o go to bed at ten or 11 when I was stillin our own apartment. I tried to explain to her that irritating me before bedtime just made it hard for me to sleep. She is either in the throes of Alzheimer or she is simply getting senile as at times she makes no sense at all.So at nine I turn off my computer and read and have a diabetic snack and at ten I turn my lamp off. then I toss and turn most of the night.ann I hope we both really sleep well tonight though.

When i was in college, (and i'm pregnant), I had insomnia too. i usually sleep at 3am and goes up by 7am to eat breakfast then back to bed and goes up by 2pm and eat lunch at that time. my insomnia lasted for almost 2 years and just i just got normal sleep when my baby turned by 8 months and i started to work here at the office. and now, i normally sleep by 9 or 10 pm and goes up by 7am to get ready for work. but yesterday i was freaking awake until 2:30 am waiting for my husband. good thing he brought me (siopao) it's a chinese food. after i ate it, i feel sleepy. and now i'm recovering from tiredness i'm starving now. =)

You will be very tired when have an insomnia. Sometime i also get it. I woke up at 3-4 am and then feel asleep around 6 am. The result is i woke up again at 9 am and always go to work late. Even though the total hours for sleeping is 8 hours but i still felt tired and sleepy. This insomnia may take 2-3 days. And now whenever i get an insomnia again, i soak my foot in the warm ginger water before sleep. I also go to sleep later than the previous day around 30 mins-1 hour. You know what, my insomnia is gone immediately.

Looks like you need some rest after being so active yesterday If you usually don't drink a lot of coffee, this seems quite normal. With coffee the ups and downs in activity are more significant than with tea... I remember once I was getting ready for my exams, wanted to concentrate well, so I drank two cups of strong coffee. I wasn't able to sit even for ten minutes, I always had to jump up and go somewhere, go for a walk, go shopping... I was so hyper I couldn't even study that day!

When you are more active than usual one day, and also take a stimulant(ie coffee), your body kind of goes on hyperdrive. It stays going until you end up crashing very late that day. The next day, you will need either another pick me up, or just relax because your body is recuperating. Many people will get this way if they do a really hard work out at gym They keep going and going and adrenaline is just pumping like crazy. But then the next day is a complete let down when your body has to start back up from nothing, and is actually 'starved' a bit from the last extreme run. You should feel better tomorrow if you took it easier today.

You know me my dear daughter I was addicted to coffee but later years I decided to change my coffee brand without caffeine. You feel tired because of the coffee you drunk yesterday and you know that your not a coffee drinker that's why you keep alive and no time to sleep because you go to the office early this morning. Try to overcome your feeling today and don't drink coffee again. That's why people get addicted because when they feel lousy they have to drink again and to be alive. I know when you got home you will go to bed early I hope Joaquie will not disturb you.

yes mom. i know how addicted you are to coffee. you use to ask me to buy 2 boxes of 20 pcs. coffee at the store. and every morning you drink coffee. well i use to drink coffee here in the office everyday, but the thing is, we had a week long vacation that i missed coffee and then yesterday is just the day i drank coffee again and plus it's two cups. maybe that's why i was hyperactive that day i managed to walk to and fro while carrying joaqui. i look like a crazy woman walking and walking! hahahaha.

seems like coffee makes you active all day and night, and now you are paying it off. haha. anyways, as much as i wanted to drink coffee, i cannot because i have hyperacidity but i love its smell, lol. anyways, i have felt that when we are preparing for our son's first birthday. my husband and i were just like superman and wonder woman who keep on going back and forth to the market for almost two weeks. hehe. then after the party, that's the time i feel so tired and harrassed :)

It is very normal annrielyn_03. Your body is not a machine, it is needed to restore after 1 day being active. You can take a short nap to get back your energy. If you are not coffee-drinker, you will be tipsy and hard to sleep if you drink a lots coffee in a day. I used to be like you sometime when i was in Korea. I stayed up late till 2-3 am and I was very sleepy in the next day. I still came to the lab, but working is not efficient at all, and i had go to sleep very early after that. If keeping like that regularly, it is really not good at all for both our health and working efficiency.

I just wish for a good night sleep later.

yes i experience this sometimes. but when i get too tired, i just get enough rest so that the next day i will not be tiresome anymore. i just store some energy for another active day the next day. have a great day!
