Well the most anticipating match of this year's Bundesliga is over and Borussia have won it with a smart goal by Lewandowski in 77th min. Most of the match didn't have a good quality football but it was really intense with both teams searching for a goal and the control of the game changing constantly for both teams. But I have to say that the last 25 minutes the match were very nice. Many chances for both sides and ending it with Lewandowski as the match hero and Robben being the player that, even though it wasn't expected, he blew it in two crucial chances for Bayern. He lost a penalty and lost a shot from 2-3 meters from the goal. All in the last minutes of the game. Anyway, have you seen then match? What do you think of it? Is the title sealed?

Unfortunately, for me as a huge Bayern fan, the Bundesliga title is lost. I cannot understand why Jupp Heynckes has chosen this tactic in a game where the 3 point were crucial. After conceding the goal, Bayern forced the offense and Dortmund looked very shaky to me. It is unbelievable how fearful Jupp Heynckes was and the result is a very disappointing one. In my opinion, Dortmund deserves this title, because they have a more positive attitude, although the quality is not even close to Bayern's quality. The mentality of the two trainer's made the difference and judging from this point of view, Dortmund is a deserved German Champion. And this game was another proof for me that Robben and Ribery are good only against weak defenses, and that in important games they are very egoistic. I am sure that without them, last night Bayern would have won the game.

Bayern fan here too :( I also think that Heynckes approached the game really scared. He should attack more especially in the first half. Ribbery wasn't good either but I think that both are excellent players, they just weren't in their night. Maybe he could use Alaba in Ribery's position in the last minutes since Alaba was one of the very good one's yesterday.

They are selfish in some games indeed but I think that at least one of them is needed in big games cause these are the only two players in B.M. who can do something extraordinary in a game.

It is funny that Ribery hasn't made any great game so far, maybe against United in 2010 in Munchen. Otherwise he has spoiled the passing game of Bayern and has made more harm in the important games than good things. As for Robben, he has scored optically great goals, but he has played egoistically in the great games, and hasn't really played for the team. I am sick of this so called star players, they are harming the team play a lot. And without Olic's heart, Robben's great goals would have been worthless in 2010. If it was after me, these two players would be sold, especially if this will be another season without trophies. If Bayern will win the Champions League with the couple Robbery in great form, I will withdraw my words and I will accept everything from them. But if not, I will still be against them.

Bundesliga action is not easily available in my country. Given the poor start Dortmund had, to find them at the top with a six point league is nothing short of amazing. Given that Goetze had sign a new contract, Dortmund will be a force come next season.

Unfortunately yes Dortmund did an amazing comeback this season, don't know if they'll be a force next year but they were this year even though they weren't expected.

Yes, now Borussia has one hand on the title. But, hey the pressure of the title chase can have funny effects. And this season has really been crazy in almost all parts of Europe with a up and down race for the title in EPL and La Liga. So I would think there might just be one more twist in this story. Cheers! Ram

I hope so. But I have to say that it is really difficult B.D. losing more than 3 points (against Schalke maybe) in the last 4 matches.

I have seen most of the match and I have to agree with your opinions:it wasn't a very spectacular match until the last 25 minutes, and that was explainable because the match had a big stake and none of the teams was willing to risk too much, but the last part of the match was indeed fabulous.I think Borussia's success almost ended the title race, although they still have to play a very difficult match at Schalke, but if they maintain their concentration and play at their best it's very hard to believe that they will lose a six point lead with only four matches to go.I think Borussia is one of the most spectacular teams in the world and they fully deserve a new title, and I expect them to have a much better evolution in the Champions League in the following season.

I was kind of expecting it from Borussia since they were in the front in the league table but I was expecting Bayern to be more offensive and trying to be dominating.Yeap I also believe that the title race is over.

I don't think that they'll have much trouble against Mainz which I think Bayern plays with this weekend. But yes it was a big loss of morale for Bayern.
