Cristiano Ronaldo’s hat trick sees Real Madrid down cross town rivals Atletico 4-1 and restores Los Merengues’ four point over lead over arch rivals Barcelona. I think that Cristiano Ronaldo can score more sensational goals then Leonel Messi and I think that he proves that in this match. I think that he's not heaving the credentials that he deserves and I think he's better than Messi, because he has proved he can mix his qualities into the two biggest leagues in football. Real should win this time...they deserve it..jose mourinho has tried a lot..ronaldo is on fire troughout the season..if real will be able to win at barca then title is coming to madrid for sure..i know its very difficult game as we have seen in past to win against barca at their home ground is quite difficult job..

It doesn't matter how you score the goals, it matters to score them, and possibly in every game. It is true, Ronaldo is more spectacular than Messi, but that doesn't make him better at all. Because this is football, not artistic show, and in football the most important things are results and trophies. As for Ronaldo playing in more leagues, that is his problem, it shows that he is not a very loyal player. Messi was helped by Barcelona when he has a child and had problems, so why should he change the team?
As for Messi's personal awards, they are given based on the vote of national team trainers and captains, so I think their opinion is more valid than ours. Personally, I consider Xavi and Iniesta way better than Ronaldo or Messi, but this is just a personal opinion.

Real Madrid are fighting hard to stay ahead. They know that they do not have a great record in Barcelona against Barcelona, so they would want to keep 4 points ahead to make up for a slip at Nou Camp.
But Ronaldo is in great form, he crossed 50 goals for the season in that match!!

It is good Real is back as they have been losing points in this month as they were 10 points ahead of the Barcelona and topped the table but now Barcelona had neared the gap to just 4 points.It is a great fight between these two teams and the fight is also between Ronaldo and Messi.I think Barca will jump ahead of the Real Madrid as they are in winning streak for the last 10 matches and if they continue in this way then they may go ahead of Real.But congratulations to real on the win as tomorrow the difference was only 1 point and now they have extended the difference to 4 points.Lets see what holds in the future.

On the subject of Ronaldo vs Messi I dont think you can say Ronaldo is better purely because he has been prolific in the premier league too. Having seen Messi performing in the champions league you can see he can perform against all top sides, yes he has great players around him but are you going to deny that Ronaldo doesn't? What I can say is Barca has more match winners
As for the title race I think its going down to the wire and in one game where Ronaldo maybe off form, Real could slip up whereas like I said before Barca hve more match winners in the team to get a result now

I think Ronaldo is more talented to get goals than Messi, but Messi is always in team with super players while playing for club as well as for the nation and get more chances for getting goals. On the other hand Messi is better play maker than Ronaldo, that make big difference.
