do you have tasty biscuit's recipes?

my friend's birth day will become very soon. I am going to make her delicious biscuits. But it seems like it doesn't tasty for me. what should I add to my cookie. Do you have any ideas? And please give me some recipes.

I always add a little vanilla flavoring if the recipe doesn't have. Or another flavoring mattering on what it is your making. Flavored sugars are nice. I use lavender or anise sugars in my sugar cookies instead of plain white sugar. They had a nice light flavor to cookies, cakes or teas.
