Well, I have to start cleaning my own place because I would be working away from my home. I would be getting an apartment close to my working place in May. At home, we hire two housemaids to do the chores in the house. But now I have to do the chores by myself because hiring a housemaid will add to my expenses. I wanted to lessen my expenses so that I could save a lot for the future.

Hey there Pandora, Pranoid huh, well it is kinda scary to hire help nowadays because there are a lot on the news about help, one killed the whole family by poison and only the dad survived it and one was she led the robbers come in the house and she was part of there gang the girls were raped and and all were shot and the house was robbed. Scary right anyway Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is what monk have an extreme case and maybe you have a mild case but i guess it is only about cleaning? I assume.

Hi pandora, Scary right, i mean i a big guy but i am sacred of things like that you cant punch poisoned lemonade right or fight back if you were already raked in the head so better do the dirty work before we become the dirty work for the coroner. Well good thing it is only for that, hey can we be friends here?

i've heard on the news some stories about crazy gardeners or nannies who murdered the empliers,so yes it is kinda scary. and yes my "paranoia" is only about cleaning :)

I remember how my mentor told us about us girls staying home to clean and do the chores. He would say, dirt will come back, laundry will never finish, and we will always eat. He was saying that these things that we do at home will not have an end. Therefore, it's a thankless job and he says that we didn't go to school, graduate and have degrees in order to just clean up and do chores. "let the chores be done with those who don't have any other opportunities". This is why we hired people to do the basic things and chores around the house. Instead, we go to work, earn a living and pay for them to work for us. But not necessarily sitting down when we're home. I usually cook when I am not busy, same with my mom and brothers as well. We do help out but the day-to-day activities at home are mostly done by the help. I think this is a good logic because you don't need to go to school, graduate and have degrees in order to do chores. You'd be wasting your valuable knowledge just by doing something that is monotonous without an end. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

First and foremost, never has it been said in the past the economy is better. It will always look 'bad' in the eyes of the people in its generation. We tell ourselves and the news tells us that the economy is poor, it may be so because of the rising bills and the oil prices rising. However, have you noticed that now that the economy is 'bad' still there are a lot of constructions of huge building going about, a lot of new cars are being bought, homes are built, condo units sold, people still go for fastfood and restaurants, concerts still happen, a lot of people still buy stuff that are obviously not necessary, we still use air conditioning units, we still watch movies, and brands of cellphones still make phones and if you fail to notice it, we in the third world (assuming you're in the Philippines) are still buying branded clothes, phones, gadgets, and going on vacations. That sir, is not an economy that is losing. You can say that the economy is really bad when we're doing rallies and pickets and we're lining up for alms and support from other countries. Let's not use the economy as an excuse for us not to be able to earn more. Why don't we just admit that we have the opportunity to do better. I am not rich. Neither am I living comfortably. I have bills hanging over my neck as well. But unlike most, I don't give up. I don't allow myself to be in a situation where my source of income would only be limited to one. I have a lot of sources and MyLot is one of them. I don't do MyLot to feed my family, but I'm doing this on my spare time so that at least at the end of the month I could reach payout or more. I don't sit down waiting for the orders of my boss, I do something about the opportunity that I am not busy with a job. There are many excuses why we are poor. But let those excuses not be your own because if that is the case, then why do we have ambition? How bout instead of doing Facebook or sitting down watching television or sharing some grapevine, why don't we start doing something that's productive? Right now I am upgrading myself by learning another language, it isn't costing me much because I found a way to be able to practice it with no cost. It's all about determination and we are all capable of it. You take care :)

I'm out for work and I can't do household chores at home. I hire somebody do the chores for me,in full time basis. She has 1 day off so I will be at home during her off I will surely do some chores too, but not often. I wish I could do it myself but its not really convenient, usually I will be out at least 10 hours a day and back during the night. So I can't help out.

Hey there cloud, Well most of us here are working and if you really live in a big house then cleaning would really take time, me i live in an apartment that is a loft type and it is easy breezy to clean thirty minutes and a bleach it's all bright and shiny.

before, when we were still young, my mom often hires someone to help her out in household chores and at the same time taking care of us. but us we grew older and even more reliable, mom stopped hiring. she believed that we are old enough to help her in doing the chores and manage the entire house.

We used to have a househelper or an all-around maid at home when my daughter was born and that I needed help with the chores. We treated the helper like our own family member but she abused our kindness so we had to let her go. Now I'm a hands on completely to my daughter and also a woman of the household.

Hi there rosesthorns, That is sad sometimes our help forgets there place in the house when we become to friendly with them and sometimes we really kinda blurr the lines for them too anyway it's all good and it's great that you are focused on your daughter and the household less people less to worry about, take care now

I'm more hands on, but I grew up with a nanny, the best thing since I'm the only child I'm not spoiled and I'm not lazy. I want to more organize on my things and I much preferred to do it so I know where it is. I taught my daughters to be independent too so that they can manage there things right. It is there mess so they must clean it. Hiring a maid is too expensive now If I can do it I will to save money for other expenses.

Hey there lyn, Yeah extra expenses are you know a pain in the butt and better that you take care of your things than others so that you can save and at the same time like you said you can find it easier since you know were you put it. And great parent you are for being a good disciplinarian to your kids, i salute you mam.

Hey there Mandalee, Well me i try to clean as much as i can everyday, using wet rags for surfaces in the hous and even windows, then sweep and move the bulky things around and sweep under as well as mopping with bleach, i love it when i can clean it gives me a sense of you know cleanliness and brightness in the apartment and one more thing is that you can sleep even on the floor i f you wanted to because it is clean.

Hey there chicgale, I love cleaning in the house too plus i tend to save on some more cash and get's me fit indirectly while doing something productive, anyway for me i think the most hardest is the laundry cause i have a manual twin tub and most of the rinsing is something that i do to manually and i do tend to get to save some water in the process and some more for not hiring help. Thanks for the comment gale.

We actually do all the chores all over the chores inside and outside the house helping hand in hand together with all my siblings just have to make sure everything in the house is clean and organize, but if we really in a needy of help like carrying heavy cartoons, cutting trees, cutting grasses we call someone to help us to do that and after his service then Mom will pay for it.

I'm gonna be honest, I hate any kind of household chores, but I do them myself. I just can't afford help (if that doesn't count my dad does the chores which require tools).

Hey there doroffee, Well for me i like doing house work it keeps me doing something and you know a clean house is a home (where did that come from) well good thing your dad is handy i think it is a prerequisite for a guy to know how to do stuff at home and fix things, unless he can pay for help.
