I had a work experience in Jollibee last year. I was a counter crew back then. Working in a fast food chain is a bit hard because you need to serve the customers really fast but sure of what you are doing to serve them. But I enjoyed a lot working there because my co-crews are kind and so much fun to work with. After our work we go out and drink some beers and talk about life, we joke around and we just laugh out loud. We forgot all the pains in working:)

I once been a crew in Jolibbee, like you I was also assigned in the cashier/counter area. I admit working there was not a good experience for me. I was always "short" so I have to pay. The biggest short I had was 1000 pesos. Half of my salary at that time. I was often scolded by the managers as well because of too much voids. lol

lol..me too!..the biggest "short" I had was also 1000 pesos..i won't forget it, it was Sunday and the Jollibee that I was working before was near the Cathedral..so there are a lot of people coming to the store right after the mass..some of the managers scolded me if ever i commit mistakes but there is only one manager back then that was so nice to me..well not only to me, but for all of us!..she's my idol!.she didn't made us feel that she's superior, that she's the manager, she just want everybody to help each other..teamwork is very essential in a fastfood chain..that manager is so humble!.and until now, even if I'm not a crew anymore, we still jammin':)

Unlike the managers in the branch where I used to work. They are so grumpy, and not to be suspicious or anything. I think one of the managers got that one thousand! haha! I'm just paranoir I think, but here's what happened, after my shift when he's going to count my sales, as I pull the money holder, it fell so the bills and the coins scattered on the floor. Next thing I knew, I was short by one thousand.

Wow! I have never experience working in a fast food chain before but I admit there were lots of times I planned on it especially when I was in school. I have friends who had been employed in Jollibee they say it was fun. As for my kids, they want to experience working in McDonald's. Good thing there is a 5-day Kiddie Crew program. We pay for the uniform and food and there is no salary but my kids love it! I'm also living my dream in my kids...

Hello Krizzy, that is nice you have experience of worked in fast food chain. How did you feel during the job? did it make you hungry and want to eat the food or did you lose your appetite of fast food? I never had experience working in fast food chain but my sisters owns a caffetaria, so I know how is the situation in caffetaria. The food looks delicious at first but the more we stay there, I mean coming there everyday, taste the food, so I feel bored with the food lol. Working in fast food chain means you have to deal with different kind of customer, some just really fussy, some are nice, sometime its make us feel tired specially when we have to deal with fussy customers. Im glad you enjoyed your job and you have nice friends. Hang out with friends can help us to forget the tiring day we had at work. I had a part time job before but not in fast food chain, and now Im not working because I need to focus more on my study but to have a part time job experience can help us to prepare ourself to enter the job world in the future.

Hi there fashionfever!.When I was a new crew in a fastfood chain, I really love to taste all the food but we are not allowed to do that:p..but as i go to work everyday, i lose my appetite..the food was boring, i even buy canned goods for my break time..LOL..yes we have to deal with different kinds of customer..some are really fussy like as if they own the store!.but because of that experience I learned to be polite to any type of customers..it made my heart smile whenever there is a customer that even call me on my name and they thanked me with a bright smile in their faces..i really really like to serve those kinds of people:)

During my teen years i worked in both Jollibee and Mcdonald and during that time when it is closing time and their are still lots of bread left in the store. You are free to take home those bread that was not sold to the costumer. But i think they don`t do that now anymore.
