Chelsea booked their place in the FA Cup final by thrashing Tottenham 4-1. Again the match was mired in controversary. From a corner, Terry had balatantly fouled two of Spurs players. The loose ball fell to Mata who shoot it towards goal. The ball seems to hit the players that is on the ground and did not cross the line. However, referee Atkinson blew for a goal. Even thou Spurs threatened a comeback with a Bale goal, Chelsea went on to hammer two goals. And so, it will be Chelsea vs Liverpool for the cp final

I don't think they're anyway near back to the best. The first half yesterday, they were poor and Spurs had the better chances. A wonder goal followed by a goal that never should have stood let Spurs head's drop. That said, i hope they beat Liverpool, never liked the Scouse! But Chelsea are gonna get beat on Wednesday by Barcelona, that one isn't a contest.

Not at their best and won 5-1, what can they do when they are in full gear? To play lousy and win is a sign of a team of the moment. Barcelona is always the favorite even if they play Brazil. But they have not won all their matches this season nor there ever was. What about a draw in London and then a 1-1 draw in Camp Nou?

And the scores before the Spurs game? It was one match, in which they only played decent for the best part of 45-60 minutes. Recent matches show that Chelsea just arent playing well, yes a decent victory yesterday but no way means that Di Matteo's side are playing with a swagger that gives a false impression. There is a valid reason they're 6th in the league. And im saying this from a neutral viewpoint, im not a Spurs fan. Re: Barcelona, yes we know that they're defeatable, as shown in the La Liga table. But with the form Messi etc are in, surely you wont be predicting a positive result?

It was a clinical performance by Chelsea to take out Tottenham. When Tottenham got their goal to reduce the margin to 2-1, I thought they will fight back and make it close, but Chelsea then really closed out the deal pretty easily in the end. Of course, there was controversy in the second goal and it should never have stood, but I think overall the result was fair. Cheers! Ram

Chelsea is almost back to their best. Considering what they were just about 2 months ago, it seems like they are a new team today with the same old players. Di Matteo has done wonders, although I suspected that what he did was just to let the team play the way they had been playing. He did not teach these old dogs any new tricks. The win over Spurs was a typical Chelsea performance. They are still a bunch of fearsome old warriors - they won't last the distance in a league marathon but they could play anyone in an one-off match anytime. It will be interesting to see them playing Barcelona in the UCL semis. Against Liverpool in the FA cup final, I feel it will be a hard-fought match with a low scoreline.

It will certainly be an interesting FA Cup final against Liverpool as both teams have struggled so hard throughout the season. But I would have to say that Chelsea's victory against Tottenham was marred by the referee's poor decision. Juan Mata should not have celebrated his goal given how he was right in front of the goal when the incident happened. Nonetheless, the game was convincingly won by Chelsea. Will they on to Champions league glory and secure a commendable double?

There definitely wasn't a goal in the situation with Mata, but I don't think that this call from the referee Atkinson, had any difference in the end of the game. I don't think there is importance if the game is gonna end 1-4 or 1-5. Chelsea definitely deserved the win and I think they deserved a spot in the FA Cup final against Liverpool. I think that Chelsea are the favorite at the final, but they shouldn't underestimate their opponent, because we saw how out of nothing Liverpool put the game against Everton upside down and eliminate them. One thing is for sure out of this semi-final with Tottenham against Chelsea. Chelsea deserved that they're gonna be a worthy opponent at the semi-final of the Champions League against Barcelona. Everyone who are thinking that Barcelona are gonna get the win without any struggle, I think Chelsea show them the opposite. It's gonna be a great semi-final and Chelsea has things to settle with Barcelona, like Frank Lampard said. I luck to Chelsea at the semi-final and I hope they had the win, because they deserve it from their match against Barcelona at 2009, when the referee didn't whistle 3 penalties for Chelsea.
