I am a frustrated singer...Gosh!

Ever since, I dreamed of standing on stage, in front of many people and offer them an award-winning performance. I was three when I found myself humming and even singing but with a wrong lyrics because at that time, I remember I don't know how to pronounce words with the letters L, R, and S. =) Luckily, I have this eagerness to learn how to speak the right way and pronounce words correctly. The first song I memorized was Goodbye by Air Supply, and even up to now it is still my favorite past-time song. I sing it to my kids at bedtime. LOL! I find it really funny. Unfortunately, I don't have a strong self confidence that is why my dream of becoming a singer did not come true. Watching Jessica Sanchez and Charice makes me teary-eye and inspires me a lot. Well, moving on, I know its too late now for that.

I also had that frustration. But I found a friend that can help heal that frustration, it's called "karaoke". Lol. I have one at home, Every time I miss singing, I invite a few friends over to sing our hearts out and party. It's pretty awesome when you're together with family and you just wanna sing the songs that inspired you before. Even if you're out of tune nobody will judge you, coz you're just having fun. Hope you'll get one though. =D

I sing all the time at my folk club. It has helped me build up my confidence and has given me lots of new friends. Maybe you could try something like that to give you experience with singing in public. All the best! It is never too late for anything new!

Same here, lol! seriously i love singing, but i guess it's the other way around as it doesn't love me. One of the things that really attracted me to my wife is her singing voice, as she could sing the high notes well enough {she was a singer then}. If you really got talent, it's not too late as there are lots of competitions out there still open to any aspiring singers regardless of age.
