feel like telling people i am eating banana right now. the fried one with sugar in it! yumm! we call it here, "saging rebusao" sometimes i like it without sugar but most often i like it with! But the banana used there are not the usual banana, not the yellow bananas that can be eaten right away, we use the kind that needs to be cooked first. i am so bad at this as i do not know the name! i also like banana chips..these are like those healthy snacks that i love as it is rich in potassium! so anyone want some?

banana cue - delicious banana cue
Were you referring to banana cue? Our famous banana cue?..heheh. We call it just banana cue here, not really sure what our elders here call it in our own dialect but I have know it just as banana cue. I love it with so many caramelized sugar than without, it just seems lifeless without the sugar. I can't remember when was the last time I ate it, but I am now starving and craving for one

Roasted in coal? Never tasted that yet.. No, no, banana cues here are those that are fried and added with caramelized brown sugar, like those on the photo I attached.

You just made me want to eat banana I should go grocery shopping and get some! I like bananas and banana chips too. I never tried to fry it though, how do you put the sugar in it? I saw cookable bananas at the market once or twice, they were green, and I had no idea how to make them, so I didn't buy them.

if you want to try them use the bananas that are cookable..not the ones you have to eat first. I peel off the peelings then slice it into cuts that i like, then fry it till golden brown. Then remove it. then in another pan you have to caramelize sugar till it is thick but not burned, just the amber color you have to wait then put the banana, turn off the stove after putting the banana then stir it till the sugar crystalizes.

I think that kind of banana is also used in banana cue. Bananas are really healthy. It is good tot eat when you have diarrhea because it helps replace your potassium losses. I also like eating bananas. I always eat banana every after a meal. I like the different ways how it is cook such as banana split, banana cue, banana chips, etc. i like the banana chips made from Davao. It's really crispy and yummy.

I think here they call a cooking banana a plantain, although my mom used to fry the yellow one with pork chops. I have bananas sitting right in front of me right now. You are right, they are very good for you. Potassium and magnesium both.

I enjoy my morning banana. Tend to take it rather plain without anything. For some reason, I just find having a banana each and every day for breakfast to be rather appealing. There are a lot of wonderful things that can be done with bananas, but really in the end, shifting back to basics and just having the banana as it is can be healthy. It is really a healthy snack any kind of banana products. I always try and keep a least a couple of bananas ready, in case the urge rather tends to visit me if I want to eat a banana or two. It is just a nice healthy treat that in many ways cannot really be beat.

I am not very tasty fruit, in general. However, what I prefer to eat, is without doubt the banana. I like bananas eaten in its natural, and, above all that is yellow and therefore not too ripe. After lunch or after dinner (which my mother has always remembered to buy them) I always eat one or two. For other fruits, like I said, I'm not that great gourmand. At the most an apple a day!

I have never heard of bananas that you have to cook before eating thats interesting. I love bananas but I dont buy them very often. I used to cut them up and put them on my cereal or in my yogurt. I love banana chips as well I buy them now and then. I wonder what the banana your eating that you friend with sugar would taste like. It sounds interesting.

Banana is one of my favorite fruit but I love mango more than banana~(^^) Anyway we called the fried banana as fried fritters in English and it is one of the popular street food as you can see there are so many people selling it on the street stalls. We can eat it in many ways, fried, boiled or just like that. I like to have it with chocolate ice cream!!(^^)
