hello friends, Heart burn , sensation is a common problem , in these days. This may be because of our food habits, we eat a lot of junk food, which causes acidity , which ultimately results in burning sensation and indigestion. One remedy for this problem is to have a glass of cold milk, this will reduce the problem up to some extent. Do anyone knows any remedies for this problem. and any other causes for this acidity....pls share.....will be very helpful for others too.........

In my home you won't find any antacid gel etc, but you can always see a bottle of Santhkripa Churna that is sold in shops of Asharam Babu, it is herbal, cheap and highly effective.. Happy posting, cheers. Kalyani

I have acid issues really bad, Im on medicine from my doctor now but, what I find really helps is less spicy food and watch the juice with acid like lemonade. Also, you shouldnt eat after 7 depending when you go to bed that can vary. Also, you should try and do something after you eat like walking wise not sitting and slumping in the sofa they say if you sit up straight and eat slow and chew your food well its all supose to help.

Prevention is better than cure is what we commonly say. Stop eating or drinking food or drinks that contain to much acid. When it comes to prescription I can't do that so it would be a better choice to consult a doctor and have some advise of what to do to cure heart burns. All I can say is Prevention is better than cure.

Just to eat less food that causes heartburn. When I have heartburn I usually just drink water, take some tums, and wait it out. Probably not the best plan for heartburn, but I really don't get it often enough to spend too much time worrying about the remedies to stop it from happening.
