I love the smell of fresh cut grass I love the sound of children laughing I love a sunset on the beach I love a gentle breeze blowing on a warm summer's eve I love a bouncing, smiling baby I love the sound of rain on the car roof What are some of the things that you love in life?

The smell of fresh cut grass is something special to me. It reminds me of my father. It was his job to cut the lawns at home. The sound of piano reminds me of my mother and, sad thought it is, there are some melodies that I cannot bear to hear because they remind me too much of times that will never be. I love rainbows. There is something magical when a rainbow appears, somethin almost mystical. I love visiting my son and daughter-in-law and noticing the expression on my grandson's face. Will he recognise me this time? There was a gap of almost three months from one visit to the next last year and he didn't remember me - and that was so heart-breaking.

Many scents or sounds, and even certain mannerisms that others have, remind me of my parents and grandparents. Certain sogs remind me of places that I have been... Yes it is odd but I believe that it is a constant reminder everyday that they are still with us even though we no longer have contact with them.

Rainbows are so cool. I love them too and in fact saw one just about 2 days ago. It was raining and the sun came out as it was still raining and I saw a big beautiful rainbow across the whole sky. It's always nice to be able to visit family and is something that many of us who are lucky enough to have family love as well. Don't worry about your grandson, he is still young and eventually will be able to remember you. Isn't it funny how a lot of the things we love, we love because they remind us of something or someone?

Oh yes! Rainbow is a beautiful thing to see! I live in Cape Town and whenever there's a rainbow, I could see very clearly, as it always 'near'!

I love the smell of after rain and freshly cut grass, as well. There's just something about these smells that makes me smile and feel warm inside. I love the sound of my sweetheart's voice especially when I am missing my family back home, and my later mother, and he tells me something nice or simply, holds me tight. I love the way my father and brothers worry about me, even though I'm nearing my mid-thirties! I do worry about them, too especially my father, as he's almost 70. I love the smell of freshly baked double chocolate chip cookies, which I made with my future stepdaughter. I'm looking forward to baking more cookies with her. I love getting to know people from different background, religion, ethnicity, because by getting to know them, I'll learn more about myself.

Awesome...chocolate chip cookies, mmmmmm. I agree about the smells making you smile and feel warm inside. Your sweetheart holding you tight is so nice. I've tell my husband that my favourite place in the whole world to be is in his arms.

I love the way my son's face glows when he sees me just like his dad used to do.they smiled with eyes and mouth and it made their faces glow.I miss my husband so much. lol sad

Birds singing is an awesome sound indeed. And yes, I love it also when someone actually glows. The best smiles are the ones you can see in a person's eyes. I'm sorry that you miss your husband but just remember that everything is as it should be.
