There is no way to please people who does not like you...

I made an article the other day that, people who does not like us in the first place for whatever reasons they may have are impossible to please with.
Though I found people who like me I also found people who hate me even though I am not doing anything bad at them, it could be their personal feelings or standards which you may not really know. For me if you keep being nice to them, they won't see anything good at it at all. Give them flowers and they look at it as garbage. Give them compliments and they look at it as insult.
I mean I gave up on these people. Some people who likes you, on the other hand will always be understanding, appreciative and accommodating. If you made some slight mistakes they will understand.
It is good then to please people who accepts you for what you are and does not have a hard time liking you at all.

A friend of mind once told me that i only like those who like me. I told him of course that's true because i find it stressful to like those who hate me.
You are right that those who hate us will never see we care, they only see us as a threat.

I'm not a very sociable person, and I am very choosy with who I deal with and how. I don't like going around pleasing everybody, the same way, I don't like people who pretends to be nice to me when I'm in front of them, but does bad things behind my back.
So, just let those people be, and as long as you're not doing anybody any harm, then it's their problem, not yours.

I don't care to those people who hates me as long I never hurt someone. I can live without them. It is really hard to pleased someone you done good for them but still they will look at your bad side. And sometimes they are good to you because they only need you. Don't mind them you can choose people who are right for you and don't please them if they don't like you.

True. It is useless to care for them, in the first place don't care about you. It was really the most hard thing to accept that even though you are doing good to them they keep seeing it as bad.

It's the best thing you can do, live your own life who cant respect you give up on them. Don't please till the end, those who won't appreciate will never no matter how hard you try. It's way better to invest all this energy in yourself, your own self esteem and happiness. It's wrong to depend on your feelings of self esteem on how others think about you. You have to live with you, you are the only one who can know who you really are.
Pamper yourself, and you will be happy and shining. Nothing wrong with that you deserve it and it's your responsbility to keep yourself happy not the rest of the world.

I kind of like what you said. We need to invest our energy in liking ourselves and if there are some who does not like us, let them be. I know myself and I don't need their opinion or the way they treat me to make myself happy. Choose people who will love you.

Nice Discussion Friend. Talking to the people who dont like you is a waste of time. You have saw some person who like you but also some people who dont like you. If you want to make him friend he will ignore it and they think any good thing is bad for them. So it better to stay away for that type of people.

I think so.
The one who does not like you is usually judged person in his/her own way, it is hard for you to change his/her way of thinking and his/her view on you. No matter what you do, in his/her eyes, you do it on purpose.
I do not want to put effect to do that to change other people's view on me. I lead my own life and live happily.

yes i agreewhole heartedly. my daughter has a boyfriend i do not like for he is lazy and a drunk and many other bad things. so that when he does anything nice, which is seldom and only if he wants something, i still find it hard to like him even a little bitand some like him, just have awful personalities. and wont work on that. @averygirl72 (37748)

Yes, that is very right. We should not push everybody to like us and we really don't have the power to do that. Leave the rest to them and give them the right to accept us or reject us...thanks

I came to the conclusion that no matter how hard you try, there are always going to be people that don't like me. I don't even think that they really have to have a reason not to..they just won't. I don't try to go out of my way anymore. I am always kind and decent but I don't have any unreal expectations of them turning a new leaf..lol. I just go on and do the things that is important to me and don't worry about the ones that I can never please.

You'd rather not to mind those people who doesn't like you.Some people are hard to please even how nice and good you are to them. You cannot please people all the time.
And we cannot expect people be please despite of what you are showing them.
So I agree with you please those who likes you and never mind those who doesn't like you.We are not living to please everybody.So stay happy and be yourself.

It is true but it does not mean we don't have to be good at them. I can understand it since not everyone like me too. We can't force them to like us but that will not going to stop us from do the good things to other. I know it is hurt to help and be kind to such people who don't appreciate and do not like you, we just need to assumed that we do the good deeds and not asking for anything. Honestly I really want to dislike them too but I can't. So I always hope they will like me someday and that will not stop me from being good to them~(^^)

Yes, quite true. Such people are close minded ones. Dealing with close minded people is really difficult. You have to strike into their soft spot just to change the way they think, which is quite hard. That is why, I often avoid such kind of people. They won't listen to anything except themselves. Trying to please them is a lost act. Just avoid them straight out. You will just be exhausted with them. If you let yourself think about them and their sulking attitude each time, you will get crazy. So I suggest that you become your natural self and don't mind such stupid people.

I do understand them but as what you have said sometimes they can be described as close-minded and hard to please. It is a lost act pleasing them and I will surely turn crazy if I keep on thinking about them and how in the world they can love me?

It depends on why they hate you. If it's because of a lie told by another person or a gossip, and you know, and can prove them wrong, they might end up liking you. But if they have this aversion to you naturally, you can do anything, they are not likely to like you back... one can't be loved by everyone.

Hmm....probably yes,when I am hated because of rumors or gossip spread, I need to prove them that it is not true, however if they this aversion naturally--there is really nothing we can do. Thanks.
