Mylot Tasks

I just opened up the Tasks link on mylot.com and decided to try to do a few. There is one task where they want you to tweet a line for them. Easy. But then they state to put your Twitter name in the box below. There is NO box below. Anyone else see this and complete it? It's only for one cent, no big deal at all. I was just curious if anyone else sees a box?

I don't usually do tasks here because I forget about them. I decided to browse that day. It seems to me that most of them are not worth the effort.

Indeed there is no box there. If your username on Twitter is the same as your username here then the task creator will have no problem recognising you. Or you could add them as a friend and then inform them of the problem in their task.

Beside the task is the (!) icon and I have used it to inform that there is no box. Maybe the task creator will be informed or the task removed.

It's a link in the menu here. You can do little odd jobs for payments. They are usually very easy things. Some are "like" a page on Facebook, send a tweet, etc. It's just another way you can earn here at mylot.com

I just did the SAME task and realized the same thing. I was going to friend them and tell them there was no box....and give them my twitter name there. But, like you said, its just a penny. And the task didn't take any real effort either so...no huge loss.

I'm wondering how many people did it anyway. Those people are getting off with a free ride even if it was only a penny. Look at the business they can gain from the thousands of FREE tweets.

Yeah will be interesting to see how they manage this task with the screw up. Glad you don't use the twitter account to stay in touch with friends! That could get a little out of hand with doing these promo tweets!

I did it on the off chance I would be paid. They probably did it on purpose though for free tweets, like you say, because my friend request here has been ignored. I'm okay though, I only use my twitter for promos so I don't feel like I'm spamming my friends with stuff like that.

Until now I've limited my participation in MyLot's discussions only. I enjoy it. I haven't tried to do some task because it will demand more time for me and I couldn't do it. But you are mentioning this easy tweet-task and perhaps I'd try it.

It was fairly painless, but of course since you couldn't send the feedback to the poster was very iffy. I would like to report that I did get credit for the tweet. I am assuming that everyone else did, as well.

I'm glad you posted this because I was thinking it may have just been my laptop acting up but I see that is not the case. I messaged the task creator telling him I did complete it but there was no box. However it's just 1 cent so if I end up not getting paid, it won't bother me especially since it only took seconds to complete.

Very true PrettiMamita. No need to get all upset over one little cent! Why don't you give us a head's up here if you do indeed get paid for this one. Will be interesting to see if the contractor upholds their payment.
